This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]500341[/split]
As much as I want to see Plummer in the role, I have a feeling that Deadline doesn't have exclusive intel this time around. I could definitely be wrong though.

Plummer is still in?
Plummer is still in?
With Captain America: Civil War currently filming in Atlanta, the pressure on Marvel and Sony to cast Spider-Man is high. So it is that yesterday, rumors emerged that the short list has been whittled down to four actors Tom Holland and Charlie Rowe, rumored to be the front-runners, with Matthew Lintz and Charlie Plummer still in contention. Weve now learned that the decision could come next week.
I'll trust Anyone from Variety over Deadline any day of the week.
I think that most likely the case.Again, they clearly were just addressing yesterday's rumors.
Their sources are MUCH MORE tight with Sony and maybe even Marvel than the other trades. What I think is that they entered in contact with Marvel/Sony and they gave the shortlist again, but I think now it's just a matter of timing.
well, that Deadline article posted Tom's Instagram pic and outed him being in Atlanta.
........couldn't that hurt Tom's chance? lol
who's much more tight with Sony? Variety or Deadline?
