This with a textured pattern:

You get the idea.

It can still look homemake and still look good. I know cosplayers who have made awesome suits.

Did he explain his switch from DOB to Rowe? I thought he was pushing for DOB just like the Reddit guy and that his sources also were telling him DOB...was I incorrect?

DBS has not switched. His source still says DOB. His friend's source is the one saying Rowe.

I don't get why no one actually separates the suit like in the comics. Instead of one full zip-up body suit, it should be a top, gloves, pants, boots and mask. That would not only get rid of the visible stitching, but look more realistic. Are there any pics of a cosplayer who's done that? I've never seen it done before.

This looks homemade:

But it still looks great.

It does, but it also looks like Peter could get killed really easily in it too. Even if the fabrics for previous film suits weren't bulletproof, the suits at least looked like they protected Peter a little bit.

A slightly higher quality version of this!

Well, if they want an honest homemade look, it needs to be made from Lycra and look like cosplay costumes do. Which is to say not cheap/bad, but not incredibly high end/expensive movie quality.

A good example is this guy's work:

Something like this is what they should aim for. It's within the realm of possibility that Peter could make it, but it still looks really good.

And if they want to add some more authenticity (since the time between replacements would likely be large for someone of Peter's financial means), they could add patches and seams where he's fixed tears.

An Alex Ross ala "Marvels" would be my costume of choice.

Romita all the way.

Yes both those costumes look good, but they don't look cool enough or cinematic enough to be featured in a film. Do you really want to see a suit that looks like that in the movies. I don't.

No thanks to that texture and materiel.

 You have the right idea sir.

All the suits are too inspired by Raimi and Webb. I want to see something unique especially with regards to the material and eyes.

Finally, somebody gets it.
