Not really feeling it from the clips I’ve seen. Might just wait until all the episodes are out to watch
Ah yes, a teenager embarrassed by the actions of a parent....a trope of teenage life. I'm sure we've all had those moments with our parents before.
I love the full family dynamic
Ms. Marvel Directors Reveal Major Inspiration From Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
Ah yes, the teenage film/TV trope of a teacher/school official concerned about the protagonist (either their grades, behavior in class or school activities).
it sounds like her parents are going to be supportive of her superhero activities, albeit with some concern
I think it's a bit of a refreshing change for the teenage genre. Based on the clips I have seen, I don't think her brother Aamir is going to be the "I am older therefore I am better than you at everything" sibling that we have seen so much in the teen genre. He seems he'll be more like the loving older brother, albeit concerned about Kamala's activities, although I think he'll support her superhero activities. I am expecting it to be more like T'Challa and Shuri than Thor and Loki.
Reviews are up
If this turns out to be the case, that's a major point in its favor with me.
I generally hate most of the secret ID cliches, and especially "I must keep it a secret from all my family because reasons". Having the parents in the know and cautiously supportive is great, it means the parents aren't set up as antagonists in the story.
It's based on the clips that have been released that shows
that the parents support her being a super hero, although they have some concern about it
I mean for too long, Muslims have been portrayed more often than not as evil terrorists in Hollywood, so it would be a nice change.
What time did Obi Wan showed up on Disney+?
This should release at 12am PT or 3am ET. Obi-Wan's first episode had a special release time of 12am ET. Wouldn't expect that here.

Muslims are represented, just not in a good light. If this show portrays that religion in a super positive light, I am all for it.
She goes into that and her review of the show if you read the article.
