Disney+ could receive a Guardians of the Galaxy spinoff TV show with Rocket Raccoon and Groot as the leads. Marvel Studios is expanding their reach to the small screen and using Disney's upcoming streaming service as their direct outlet. Several shows featuring the same stars from MCU movies are in the works, and a new rumor suggests one could be on the way for the great Guardians duo.

I know this is just a rumor for now, but if GOTG 3 sets up a cosmic universe, this show would be a great avenue to explore that new world. Plus it would give us more time with Rocket and Groot, as these 2 in particular are iconic and GOTG 3 will be the last movie for this current iteration of the Guardians.

Yeah, I thought it was kind of fun but nothing special. I didn't realize the entire thing would only be about 18 minutes... It feels like bonus content of a Blu-Ray disc, or maybe a short they would air before a movie in a theater.

In hindsight, it seemed really pointless. They could have used the budget to improve the vfX of other mcu shows.

Isn't that the whole point of shorts? I haven't seen other similar shows like the Olaf, Scrat, Baymax, etc. shorts but I imagine they're similar, right? They're supposed to be cute filler stuff that kids can watch to get something extra or fill a few minutes.
