Btw, does anyone recognize the actor presumably playing president Ritson in that pic?
Looks like Dermot Mulroney?
Bob Chapek mentioned 3 Marvel series in 2022 - Secret Invasion wasn’t mentioned
EDIT: apparently the tweet I posted was deleted, but I think it was this video confirming Martin Freeman as Everett Ross:
SLJ really is the new Tom Holland
Except SLJ doesn’t give a f lol Disney would be too scared to reprimand him.
This makes sense, Armor Wars can use a little bit hype.
Im more interested if Sharon Carter is in this.
Not very surprising. We already saw a prop newspaper of Rhodey meeting the new US president for this show. That wasn't a guarantee of course since it could be photoshopped from existing footage or something but it seemed pretty likely he'd show up.
As much as I like Cheadle, still not enough to make me watch it. I hope he's not the only Avenger in the series.
RUMOR: Emilia Clarke's 'Secret Invasion' Character Revealed - Murphy's Multiverse
Interesting- I assumed Olivia Colman will play
Queen Veranke and Emilia Abigail Brand.
Hope Olivia Colman won’t be Abigail Brand instead lol
I feel the same x100
The text says "He loves you", which is a phrase used to refer to the Skrull god Kly'bn (who is actually an Eternal).
So rumors about Falcon, Walker and Bucky cameos are false.
How's Fury in it then? Or will he be a skrull throughout the whole thing?
Maybe it was Talos and his wife who got blipped instead of Fury and Maria Hill
EDIT I forgot Talos is in this show too hmm, maybe it was some rando Skrull then
Is their source, "The Hollywood Handle" a trusted source?
Also the quote in that screenrant article is from a tweet by The Hollywood Handle that only paraphrased what Feige said, it's not a direct quote from Feige, even if they made it look like that. Is it possible he just said that the show will deal with what happened during the blip in some capacity, rather than the whole show taking place during it?
EDIT: It seems that he just said something like "exploring the events during the blip" and a bunch of people jumped on that as "This show takes place entirely during the blip"
Though I do think that's an interesting bit of information. Perhaps the Skrulls took advantage of the Blip because half the people randomly disappeared, which would make it easier to either 1. replace someone who was blipped without it being noticed, 2. get skrulls promoted into important positions left vacant by the previous holder of that position being blipped.
Hoping Cheadle has an actual role on the series beyond a cameo like in Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
MCU Rumor Claims Upcoming Disney+ Show Has 4 MONTHS of Reshoots
woof…that’s not a good sign.
Also means, after She Hulk, there won‘t be 4-5 months of live action series
Their theory about it possibly being because Russia and the Russian government were heavily featured in the plot sounds plausible, I think.
Urgh I hope that does not mean we have Flagsmasher 2.0 mess.
Oh no, this really makes sense…
