Noel Fisher - Wikipedia
I dont know much about the comic event Secret Invasion except it has some tie-ins with the Skrulls. How are the chances that Valentina (JLD) with her recruits Yelena and Walker show up here?
Oh, I know him from Shameless.
Carol also had a role in Kamala's first volume so it's not too surprising if she shows up.
For Megan Thee Stallion and Sharon Carter it doesn't list them as appearing, but lists specific people who are their assistant. Likely fake and added based on those rumors then I guess (unless those assistants were listed on IMDB before the rumors started).
I don't think they played a (significant) role in the comics, but they do feel the right type of characters to show up here (and could possibly replace some characters who aren't going to show up for sure).
So it should be ready to air before 2023.
Hmmm so a fall release is likely.
Maybe they have similar releases for the shows next year:
January Ms. Marvel
March She-Hulk or Moon Knight
June She-Hulk or Moon Knight
August What if… Season 2
October Werwolf by Night Halloween Special
November Secret Invasion
December Guardians Holiday Special
Val is collecting her misfits precisely because Fury and Co. are aware that hero types would be targeted for replacement.
Blonsky and Walker types though...?
I think it would be more likely that Val *is* a Skrull, in this context. Recruiting villains or other borderline characters would partly be about "We want minions who we can trust will do as their told and not have problematic moral scruples".
What if the Skrulls go round recruiting people but later realise they've actually recruited multiverse variants and not the originals all along?
How do you *accidentally* recruit otherdimensional variants? So far there is no evidence that people can just accidentally wander between parallel universes.

EXCLUSIVE: Marvel’s ‘Secret Invasion’ Series Enlists ‘Lost In Space’ Production Designer Frank Walsh
That better not be the 60s Lost in Space.
tbh the 60‘s version had better production design imho
Ha, a 1960s psychedelic spy thriller with skrulls sounds fun though
Does anyone find it weird that there are no actual superheroes rumored to show up in this series?
Technically, Nick Fury is a founding member of the Avengers.
I was going to say that none showed up in Loki before I remembered that they used footage from Endgame that featured the Avengers.
Nick Fury is absolutely a superhero. He's had his own comic numerous times.

Cool. Super Skrull would be interesting, especially if he crossed over to the new Fantastic Four movie.
