Did anyone else hear the rumor that some of the AOS cast could make their return in this? It would make sense with Clark Gregg's cryptic post back in February?

It also would make sense if AOS is somehow canon, Coulson is in A.I form and they've dealt with stuff like this before(AIDA).

I know there were tons of rumors about them returning in Secret Invasion. So I'm a bit skeptical at the moment.

Yeah, I would treat those rumors as suspect. While Feige may have been forced to return to the Netflix shows after Marvel's many failings, the feelings he has towards AOS is more personal than mere ego.

I think they'd reference Agents of SHIELD if it was useful to them, but, unless a specific showruner is a fan of the show, I don't see them going out of their way to do it. I suspect this show will reference LMDs. I have no reason to think a specific, direct Agents of SHIELD reference will be included.

If AoS was reaffirmed as canon, it would probably be as another alternate universe.

My level of interest in this is going to depend a lot on if they bring Wanda back.

There's no reason to think that. They didn't do that with Agent Carter despite being in genuine tension with the One-Shot. And they'll be bringing back Jarvis for a second time soon.

it will probably be a reference to something that was featured on Agents of Shield, such as the Framework.
