Marvel TV Series Marvel Studios' Wonder Man

I watched a New Rockstars video on this speculating that White Vision would make his MCU return in this one as
Wonder Man
Which if it is the case would increase my interest in the show 1,000%.
Have WV fly out to LA, de-bleach his skin, drop the cape and pick up a red vest with lots of pockets and some cool glasses. Bettany would be terrific as a naive newly born synthezoid trying to make his way in Hollywood.
Give him a blue and furry best bud and you have got yourself a show!

This is one role that would've suited Henry Cavill and better than Superman.

now that u mentions Henry Cavill...Im gonna do a manip of him as Wonder Man now. Thanks for the idea. I hope this is one of the projects that gets announced for Phase six at D23.

I'm sure Cavill could do a good job. I think he's said he wants to be Brian Braddock, so if that's something that's possible he'd probably prefer to do that.

2 things I hope they address: How he gets out of Ta Lo and will Morris be with him?

Is he forbidden from leaving Ta Lo? The residents there would probably gladly help him leave if he wanted to.

I mean, he was one of the friends of the people who saved Ta-Lo, I'm sure it could be as simple as "He asked, and so they escorted him out the front door". Its not like letting him return home would be a security risk, that cat is pretty effectively out of the bag already vis a vis "Nobody outside must know we exist".

Though I would be amused if they revealed that the *other* half of his escort back to the modern world was handled by. . . the Ten Rings. Because Xialing is also on speaking terms with Ta-Lo and her extended family, and one of the tasks she assigns to her newly inherited criminal organization is "Keeping an eye on the border with Ta-Lo". :)

Would've preferred Henry Cavill in a role like this where it would've actually suited him for once.

I feel like Asians and Latinos are severely underrepresented in the MCU if they wanted to race swap.

Neither is Zendaya, but that didn't Marvel and Sony from casting her as "MJ." Sure, it's a reimagining, but still.

I still think she should've just been Mary Jane Watson, she would've been great
I didn't care for Michelle Jones in Homecoming, but once she grew into MJ she was perfect
But they tried to have their cake (black actress) and eat it too (Not upset the racist trolls in the fan community)

Until the past -what- two years, Latinos were extraordinarily under-represented, but it's good that trend is reversing

True. Though they have started with the Latinos this year. Moon Knight, Werewolf by Night, Namor and Namora for the race swapped ones (and also Ms. America and the new Falcon if we include non-raceswapped ones). I guess the Asians will get their turn some day... Also hope that once they do it's not just East-Asians. I can name several Japanese, Chinese, and Korean Marvel characters but only two or three come to mind for all of South Asia and South-East Asia combined.

Other than Kamala Khan, are there even any Indian/Pakistani Marvel superheroes? If not they might have to do a race swap like they did with Kingo.

With Kingo they raceswapped him from Japanese to Alien-who-looks-South-Asian...

Only other ones I can think of (not including ones from Ms. Marvel like Red Dagger) that I can specifically name are Omega Sentinel and Raz Malhotra as Giant-Man. I'm not really familiar with Omega Sentinel at all, but I know they used her as the South-Asian representation in some of their games like Avengers Alliance and Contest of Champions. But a quick look at her wiki tells me she became a full-on villain anyway, so I guess she doesn't even count as a superhero really.
Malhotra is Indian too, but he's a legacy Giant-Man so he's not very likely to show up.
I know they had one or two other mutants and Inhumans as well, but I couldn't tell you anything about them.

EDIT: a couple more that came to mind:
- Timeslip from New Warriors
- Neal Shaara as the second Thunderbird
- Faiza Hussain, a Pakistani-British character who becomes the new wielder of Excalibur and generally is associated with heroes like Black Knight and Captain Britain.

Still not many.

Still mad they just didn't make Mary Jane Watson and get it over with.
