Has anyone besides me played this game in the arcade. It is one of the most addicting to beat over and over for me. I am trying to get the top spot with time and the score. I plan to do it with Spiderman or Iron Man.

Please I like this for the fact it has all Marvel characters. Not to mention the boss is one of the toughest opponents even if you get the first victory which is Thanos.

I really can't get enough of these games. I finally got M Vs. C 2, but that music... ugh....

"i'm gonna take you on a ride...do do do do...do do.....DO DO!" A million times over and over again!

I have beat the Marvel Super Heros arcade version. I played turbo and I have beat it with two different characters. The first time I beat it with Spiderman. The second time I beat it with Ironman. The third and deciding round when I was Ironman against Thanos was asome he was losing and low on strength so he altered the background to think I am somewhere else like Mysterio and this move where it restricts my movement I think. But it did not matter I continued to beat him and used my finishing move the proton cannon while still in the fake background before it went back. I then did one last move and Thanos was defeated again. What is intresting was the first day I got to Thanos I lost to him. But then the next day I got back to him and defeated him with Spiderman. The same for Ironman lost to him when I got to him. But then the next day again I got back to him and defeated him.

What I described above are two of my best victories ever in a video game.

I had that for SNES. Every character certainly has strong points, though my personal favorite was Iron Man.

I never got what people saw in capcoms marvel games. Marvel Nemesis' single player may have sucked, but at least in mutliplayer you FELT like the heroes. In the marvel capcom games, I always felt like I was playing as a streetfighter character (complete with insane moves yo uwould NEVER see in the comics) with a marvel animation slapped on.

Nemesis didn't come for years after Capcom's games. "War of the Gems" (the game this thread is referring to) has a few minor flaws in how the characters are done (why can't Hulk jump high?), but it was fun for its time period.
