Yet it will be really sad if a show like this gets a green light for a new season and Spectacular Spider-Man gets canceled. Today shows like this tend to survive.

I know there will be a lot of hand wringing by the geeks about this show, but I just saw a couple of episodes and I thought it was kind of funny. It's too bad Spidey isn't involved in it.

Yeah, I love the show. So much fun; my only complaint is no Spidey. But if it gets renewed for a second season it's pretty much a given we'll see Spidey since they've got Spidey's TV rights back.

Yea i was just reading on another board the show premiered earlier today. I didnt know it was to air today, cause the promos i saw during the this past weekend said it was going to start this weekend. So i looked online and saw it will be reairing a few times, so i am going to check it out to judge it on my own.

Well i rather have spidey cartoon TSSM then spidey appearing on that hero squad show.

watched the first episode of this garbage. just dont waste any minute on it. it is just horrible and replete with farting and belching gags. i hated it. will never watch it again

well yea the previews i saw looked silly and wtf with all the heros being tiny and all that. But i am willing to judge it for myself after one episode once i can check it out then consider it crap or not.

I haven't watch this yet, but I did record it. I'm going to watch it today. I just wish that Spider-Man is in this show. Maybe in the second season.

I watched this show yesterday. Completely forgot that it was starting. TBH this show is obviously aimed at kids under 5 cause I see no way for any older age group to take this seriously. I won't bash it because I understand the age group it is trying to target but it's not for me. You know what sealed the deal for me?? Wolverine saying that he was outnumbered and calling for backup. I changed the channel right there and then.

The key here to your comment is seriously. That's the point. The show is NOT meant to be serious. Cap is making 40's dated references. Instead of thinking this like The Avengers, think of it as more What the-? or Crazy (for you real old timers) or Not Brand Ecchs (for really real old timers).

Look, do I like Spectacular Spider-Man more? Of course! It is the best animated interpretation of Spidey ever! But does that mean you can only have one Marvel show?

I dont think there should only be one marvel show I'm just saying that I acknowledge the kind of show it is and it's just not for me. However if you do watch and enjoy it by all means go for it.

this show is made for kids, i.e. 3-13 and that's how you show judge the show. I remember absolutely LOVING the 60's batman tv show but now as an adult it is absolutely unwatchable. marvel wanted to get the kids early and then keep them as they get older with more mature subject matter.

So i finally caught an airing on CN earlier this afternoon. I can say i did like some of the voice actors for certain characters, the animation isnt that bad. Though the whole concept of pint size heroes/people and shield helicarrior/asgard/ and doom thing all next to the city was a bit silly. Though this show is targetting what the 2-7 year old crowd i think. So it works for those young kiddies out there. Not that bad and interesting storyline about chasing after the infinity crystal thing. But i doubt this show will last to long.
