A wide-ranging sporting goods line by Jarden featuring Marvel Entertainment's characters and sub brands will hit retail soon.[/FONT][FONT="]In the deal, Jarden has received the rights to create products based on Marvel's portfolio, including Super Hero Squad, Spider-Sense Spider-Man, Wolverine Classic, Spider-Man Classic, Marvel Heroes and Marvel Extreme. The items, under Jarden brands, will include Rawlings for playground balls, sports balls, sports sets and other sports equipment; Shakespeare Fishing for kids' fishing equipment; Coleman for outdoor camping gear; Stearns for children's and adults' personal flotation devices and towables; and the United States Play Card Company for playing cards and puzzles. The Marvel sporting goods line will be sold at mass-market retailers and specialty stores, including sporting goods stores.[/FONT]
