Marvel to bring Hulk back to tv - in live action?

Considering even in the million dollar movies that the Hulk still looked pretty fake, I'm guessing they are going with a live-action bodybuilder for the Hulk again.

Funny thing is, even after 30 years, Lou Ferrigno still has the body to do it.

Say wha????

The Hulk is turning into one of most recast superheroes in TV/Film history. There is no way Ruffalo is doing a TV series, so they are going to cast someone else as the Hulk. That means six actors will have played the part. Bixby, Ferrigno, Bana, Norton, Ruffalo and the new guy.

This is a terrible idea. Get ready for a man in a suit.

I agree. He's giving Batman a run a run for his money. On the bright side, they have yet to cast someone as Banner that I don't absolutely adore. I hope they get someone good for this.

Hulk should be left alone to hopefully gain some hype from an awesome appearance in Avengers, leading to something cool for the character after that.

Marvel has a ton of properties with tv series potential. Using Hulk is kind of a cowardly move on everyone's part.

Although I wish they didn't go for Hulk first, let us hope that this will be one of the many television series of Marvel superheroes lined up.

Wouldn't it be nuts if Ruffalo was still the lead?

I have no problem with this as long as it's done well. With todays special effects, not sure if they will go for full CGI or something else, but in any case they can do wonderful things now.

I'm intrigued about Cloak and Dagger too. Just hope ABC Family doesn't screw it up.

Ok Marvel. This is your chance to fix what went wrong with the original TV series in that it made the Hulk into this one dimensional RARR!!!-type character(if he could even be called a true character in that show) and cemented in the public's mind that that was all the Hulk was(since, y'know...they never picked up a comic before). This is your chance to do it RIGHT! But if you're not going to do that(y'know, they way you DIDN'T do that in you're 2 live action movies for the most part) then I'd say this is a horrible idea and you shouldn't bother. Same thing goes for getting the Hulk's origin right for once and all of his supporting characters right(and one in particular who seems to still get the shaft....Rick Jones).

The man in a suit or not thing is less important to me at this point than getting the character's & mythology right. If they do the last two right then I can easily get used to a man in a suit/paint again.

I'm actually excited about this, If it's done right I think it could be a cool show.

All I wish is for it not to come off as cheap and for the source material to be respected.

First Wondy, now this. Is this the 70s again?

Totally would have done Daughters of the Dragon as an anime.

I'm interested!,Not too sure about it yet though.....But I'm not bashing the idea just yet.

This is worse than the Wonder Woman news.

I'm not against this but completely shocked by it. I want it to succeed , being a Hulk fan but I'm really curious to find out how they will try to pull this off.

How is it worse or better news than the WW show??,No full details yet and your already shooting down BOTH shows!?.

Took me by surprise. Wonder if it will be tied to The Avengers...
