Man I hope Spidey is back at Marvel one day. I long for the day we see him on the big screen with the likes of Iron Man.

That would be awesome too, maybe do a Spidey cameo by having him race Johnny? Could be at the start of the movie or something like that...Then Johnny could get a call from Sue to meet back at the Baxter Building for an emergency that needs the FF's assistance.

The only heroes Marvel doesn't have the rights for that I'm upset they don't is the Fantastic Four. I think they need to be in that wider Marvel universe, whereas Spider-Man and X-Men work better when they are in their own little worlds.

Completely agree, I really want the FF back at Marvel, they'd have so much potential in the MCU...

different costumes are DLC. Everything else is a pallette swap, just as it was in MvC3

Chris Baker stated they didn't want to make it a color swap though:

The panel skipped over discussing the Marvel characters in too much detail, because they would be talked about at the Marvel Games panel happening later that day. However, they did use Marvel characters to better illustrate some of the new costume options being given to characters. Every character will have at least two new costumes based on classic comics and video games with more detail being put into them than just color swaps.

"One of the things we really wanted to do with 'UMvC3' is not make it a color swap," said Chris Baker, manager of licensed games for Marvel Studios. "You'd have Storm looking cool in her '90s white outfit, and then you'd have Gold Storm, just because you could have it in the game."

They are color swaps but with a little extra effort to make them resemble the costumes they're inspired by.For example Jean in her new X-men costume has the phoenix symbol replaced with the X-men symbol.

I think he meant that they are not just random alternate color choices like in the other games. They are inspired by other comic outfits, but are still palette swaps.

Again this is nothing new bc they werent random colors in the last game. They all came from the books or previous titles. The colors were inspired from looks the characters wore before

Any Magneto players here? I'm trying to do this air dash loop:

Launcher combo; jumping H dash cancelled into M H, land, repeat three times; standing H cancelled into Disruptor

I've got the first part down. But when I get to "repeat," the next jumping H doesn't come out soon enough to continue the combo. Am I supposed to normal or super jump after landing? 'Cause I've been normal jumping.

EDIT: Question answered. Haven't done that last H close to the ground.

try slowing it down, you are probably doing the combo way to fast. when the final H hits you want to be close to the ground so you can jump again when the opponent has a lot of hitstun on them still

instead of that combo, try doing H air dashy H xx Magnetic blast jump H xx Magnetic blast, Cr. H S (relaunch) into another loop or basic air series into knockdown

I'm still pissed that we don't have the real Rad Spencer as a costume. He should have been the main Spencer costume, but he's not even available as an alt.
