oh, and I did like Scarlet's powers and look in MCU. I liked the TK-inspired powers, so I hope that's part of her MvC moveset. but I also wouldn't mind some powers based off of the comics.

also, judging by the trailer, which ended with Captain Marvel facing off with Ryu, do you think that's a sign that Captain Marvel will be the "flagbearer" for Marvel, like Ryu is for Capcom?

it is the reason. marvel Entertainment will be pushing her hard due to her up coming movie and the fact they are trying to find their version of wonder woman. she's not really that. but marvel will push her that way til they are satisfied with their movie obsession. which mean's this will go on for a while. it's good in way and in another you know how they over do things to the point that turn off the marvel audience/ fanbase.

Well at least we're seeing more women as the leads that's the awesome part.

That's pretty much why Hawkeye, Doctor Strange and Rocket Raccoon were added in the UMVC3. And most likely Ghost Rider. Even though he was still with Sony at the time.

So pretty much any character that's recently appeared in a MCU film, will be appearing in an upcoming MCU film or has a TV show in the MCU has a pretty big chance of making the cut here. Aside from the obvious ones such as Captain America, Hulk, Spider-man, Thor etc.

that's if dc didn't learn anything fromthe last film in actually making a great story and are trying to just be edgey and leaving out certain aspect of her personality thatmake her wonder woman . marvel has been solid with stories onthe big screen with their own movies and what make the character them selves that appeal toboth fans of the books and new people thatjust see the movies. dc sorta for got this where the films are involved.

if they go with the comic's version it is indeed that of what you say. Same with alot of marvel characters.


The games industry is it's own big thing that rival's the movie industry and has surpassed it in the revenue it makes.

where game are concerned they should just concentrate on that and just put the characters they created in it and let be it's own thing.

Im sure we'll see plenty of them, but i do think the focus will be on Marvels more "relevant" characters. I hope the roster is at least the size of UMvC3's though.

I hope we have a healthy roster, and good representation from both Marvel and Capcom, across all the various franchises.

50(two of the characters being DLC).

Capcom actually wanted to add 20 characters to UMVC3 so that the roster would exceed MVC2's. But the higher ups wanted the game to be out by Christmas 2011. So they had to settle with 12 instead of 20.
