I thought it was pretty friggin good as far as sequels go.

It was all right but it felt a bit anticlimactic to me. Plus, Phyla-Vell's massive inferiority complex made her really, really irritating to read--kind of a big problem when she's basically the star of the whole event.

On the other hand, it did give us the present-day Guardians of the Galaxy via Starlord's "Dirty Half-Dozen" team of prisoners, so extra points for that.
