1) What's Marvel's best current creative team? Of all time?

1. Right now? Hmm, I'll go with Brubaker, Epting and Perkins on Captain America with a close second being Abnett, Lanning and Chen on Nova.

Of all time? I'll go with Stan Lee and John Romita Sr. on Amazing Spider-Man.

2. I'll have to think on that. I'd like to say Austen but I don't remember if the art was bad or not.

All time? Stan Lee/Jack Kirby. There is no possible way that you can beat that. Kirby alone is probably the best writer/artist ever, and teamed with Stan "The Man" you get the Marvel Universe.

Currently, I'd have to go with Brubaker and Epting for their work on Captain America. While there are writers (Slott, Bendis, Millar, Loeb) and artists (Hitch, Mcguiness) I like more, these two are perfect together.

Worst? Pat Lee (nothing against his art but the book he was on was so off his proper subject matter) and whoever wrote the Punisher when he was some avenging angel..Never read it, but it makes me shudder.

Worst currently? I don't read any comics that I have the inkling that they might be bad, so I can't properly gauge what would be the worst out right now. I'll leave that up to the people that are going to spam this topic with "Bendis and Yu suck!" or "Bendis and Cho suck!" while they conveniently leave out that they buy both books monthly.

Glad we agree on Captain America.

I think it might have been Pat Lee with Austen on Uncanny X-Men, where it looked like everyone had a big beak nose, and most of the time people were drawn with one eye. Pat can draw mechs (Please tell me we've all seen his work on Transformers *swoon*) like nobodies business, but human beings...umm..pass.

That wasn't Pat Lee. That was Kia Asamiya.

Ahh. There we go. I had a feeling it wasn't Pat Lee. Guess I blocked him out of memory. Too bad the name Chuck Austen still lingers.

Of all time -- Stan and Jack

Currently -- Brubaker/Epting/Perkins/D'Armata (would have said Millar/Hitch if they were more timely and were on an ongoing)

I'd say currently, Marvel's best team is Brubaker/Epting/Perkins on Captain America with Brukaker/Fraction/Aja/Foreman/Misc. on Immortal Iron Fist coming in a very close second. Of all time, I have to go with Stan and Jack on Fantastic Four.

I think the worst creative team right now is definitely Way and Dillon on Wolverine: Origins. Way just plain sucks and Dillon isn't right for a book like that at all. The worst of all time, I'll have to think about.

I've always loved Howard Mackie/Javier Saltares/Mark Texeira for their work on Ghost Rider Vol. 2

Definite props to the Cap Vol. 5 team

Worst? Couldn't say...

Whoever's writing X-Factor right now is definatly in the top 3. As is Immortal Iron Fist, regardless that I don't exactally love the book, I can see that it's amazingly well written.

DC is definatly the team on Sinestro Corps crossover. I havn't read anything that grabbed me as fast and as hard as this since Annihilation of last year.

All-Time Best: Claremont/Byrne
Current Best: Brubaker/Lark

The only one I really didn't like was Milligan/Larocca on X-Men. And that was only because of Milligan. I haven't read any of Austen's X-Men but I've been warned against it.

All Time? I'll have to be cliched and say Lee and Kirby.
Right now? Epting and Brubaker.

All time worst? I don't know, if it was the worst, chances are, I didn't read them. I like John Byrne as an artist and a writer (most of the time) but I thought Sensational She Hulk was a god awful comic.

I think Austen and Asamiya may very well have been the all-time worst creative team ever. I mean, seriously, there was pretty much nothing to like. From "The Draco" to Angel's S&M costume, it was just crap piled on top of more crap.

I'll have to second the all-time best of Byrne/Claremont. Tremendous.

Current Best: Bru/Epting or Bru/Lark. Take your pick

Worst: Clonesy don't play that game....

Or how about the Angel/Husk relationship. Juggernaut becoming a good guy. Sammy the fishboy. Or just the simple fact that it was trying to keep up with Morrisons monumental New X-Men run.

Sammy was cool. I liked his and Juggs' friendship.

Whedon/Cassaday, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmLee/Kirby I guess you have to say.

worst currently? Hard to say, I don't read any bad books. A couple months ago I could've said Loeb/Bianchi easily

Best Currently: Brubaker and Lark on DareDevil
Worst Currently: Dillon and Way on Origins. Poorly researched and written book

Best of All Time: Stan Lee/Romita Sr. Stan Lee/Jack Kirby. or Claremont/Bryne

Worst of All Time: Liefield on Heroes Reborn.

Um no, that was Phillip Tan.
