I think this new concept is great & am personally looking forward to seeing more. Will these 1st 2 titles (Spider Woman & Astonishing X-Men) be collected into a dvd format like the recent Watchmen motion comic from DC & Warner bros.? And if so will this give more possibility into collecting other past & present story arcs & crossovers (eg; Lee & Kirby's early Marvel work, Infinity Gauntlet, or even stories from the Marvel Knights corner)?

I honestly gotta say I don't enjoy motion comics I think they are silly and dated. Any motion comic I've ever watched left me thinking why didn't they just make this a cartoon. I understand what they're trying to do but it just such a dated thing. I mean it seems like something that would have been innovative in the 80's but its 2009.

From the trailer, it looks like Marvel actually threw some money at these, unlike DC. I'm looking forward to the Astonishing X-Men one.

you can watch astonishing x-men #1 on the Marvel youtube

I really like the little cgi 3D thing they're doing with it. It certainly looks much better than the DC ones, and the fact that they have more than one voice actor already puts it above the Watchmen motion comic.

I was really disappointed by the Watchmen motion comic. Having only one "reader" and keeping all the speech bubbles really distracted me.
