I'm happy that after all these years, Marvel is finally releasing Ghost Rider #94. But, I've been wondering how many titles still remain unfinished. Here is what comes to mind off the top of my head.

411 - (It was suppose to be a 3-issue series, but only the first two ever came out.)
Epic Anthology - (I was jacked to see Sleepwalker back in action, but only one issue ever was released.)
Daredevil: The Target - (Kevin Smith's other title, that I thought he was going to finish, along side Spider-Man/Black Cat. But, we still only have the one issue.)
Gun Theory - (Another Epic title. Only two issues ever came out of this 4-issue miniseries.)

I figure there must be a couple others...but, that's all I can think of right now.

Is Daredevil: Father still unfinished?

Ultimates is still unfinished, its almost over but its been a few months since, don't know if that would count or not.

Daredevil: Father just had it's last issue release a couple weeks ago.

And, I'll take Ultimates, as I haven't heard anything about it coming anytime soon.

All the Epic titles are creator owned, so theyre not really Marvel titles anymore.

'Ultimate Wolverine Vs Hulk' should make this list (Issue 2 of 6 came out back in April for christ sakes...)

Ultimates #13 is slated for Dec 20th,whether it comes out or not is another discussion.

Ok, our official list is:

411 - (It was suppose to be a 3-issue series, but only the first two ever came out.)

Epic Anthology - (I was jacked to see Sleepwalker back in action, but only one issue ever was released.)

Daredevil: The Target - (Kevin Smith's other title, that I thought he was going to finish, along side Spider-Man/Black Cat. But, we still only have the one issue.)

Gun Theory - (Another Epic title. Only two issues ever came out of this 4-issue miniseries.)

Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk - (Only two issues, with no future release date in sight.)

(I'm keeping in Epic titles; because, to me, even though they are creator-owned, it's still a Marvel title that's incomplete in my collection.)

I don't follow DC titles much. I know All-Star Batman & Robin is extremely late; but, do they have any?)

I really don't see why there are writer delays....

Artist Delays I can understand (But still hate as most artists ca get thier books out on time)

But Issu two should be done by the time #1 comes out...realistically....If I were kevin Smith I would have finished Target a long time ago, I know he likes Clerks and everything but he started that bfore he started anything on Clerks two, and I know that Movies are his "full Time' Job, but there is no reason he can't put in a little "overtime" and crank out a few more issues.

Man when I used to regularly collect single issues, not trades, back in around 98, I never had any delays to the titles I collected. It was pretty much unheard of, at least for me and my experience. I miss those days :(

It pisses me off that wolverine vs hulk started off with such a great scene, and its now left as a cliff hanger, and will leave many questions for the final few issues of ultimates.

With stuff like this happening they shouldn't put Issue #1 out on th shelves unless #2 #3 and #4 are ready to go as well.

How is DC for late books? I only follow a few of thiers but I know thta they are capable of doing a weekly book for thrity one weeks without missing a beat.

What about that Wolverine Iron Fist mini a while back? did that ever end? I only remember 3 out of 5 ever coming out.

Back a few years ago, X-Men Evolution had a comic and solicted a 10th issue that never came out due to sales. Does that count?

I believe the Wolverine/Iron Fist mini did have a conclusion. I'll check tomorrow in my collection.

Yeah, X-Men: Evolution would count, I'd think.

So there is:
411
Epic Anthology
Daredevil: The Target
Gun Theory
Ultimates
X-men Evolution
Ultimate Hulk v Wolverine (thats a major one, its been almost half a year seems like)
What else is there?

Was a reason ever given for the Ultimate Hulk v Wolverine delay?

It was the writer's fault, he claimed to have been too busy with writing the Lost Episodes or something along those lines.

Ultimate Wolverine vs Ultimate Hulk was a short series Marvel was advertising a good deal, what the hell happened to it?

Basically, the writer had commitments to his crappy, overrated, nonsensical show that he should have thought about before taking on the comic, and that Joe Q should have realised would get in the way.

Yeah, the Wolverine/Iron Fist mini did finish up.

I think I found another one. In my huge book, The Standard Catalog of Comic Books, they list Blade series from 1998 (under the Strange Tales line) says 1-4. I looked at the last issue I own, and it does says it's "to be continued." But, Mile High only shows three issues; so, I think the book mistakenly put an issue #4, which never came out.

X-Men Evolution - (Never had issue #10 come out.)

Blade (1998) - (Issue #4 never came out.)

The Daredevil movie special features dvd has an interview with Kevin Smith and he talks about The Target.

I think he's just not going to finish it because Joe Q promised him the next story with Bullseye and Bendis ended up getting it first.

It was pretty funny to see him talking about a book that STILL hasn't gotten past issue 1.

It looks like Strange Tales from that same time never finished, either.

I loved this line-up of books; but, clearly, not enough people were buying it.
