No, only one additional movie (besides Iron Man) will release in 2008. If the other film that they add is to be a July/August blockbuster, I think it will be Hulk or Captain America. If it's a fall release, then probably Ant-Man (which I think will have a lower budget). They'll probably tell us on Thursday.

I think they should move that. 2008 is overfull already with superhero flicks - The Dark Knight, Hellboy 2, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man.

I find it also odd that Wolverine and Magneto have not yet gotten directors and are still on the TBD.

It's the Incredible Hulk

And what about Black Widow dammit. And Daredevil. I want to know when the hell the rights will revert back to Marvel.

I want my Ultimates/AVengers movie now.

The Fact that a Hawkeye property is being talked about makes me happy.Do it Marvel!

Cloak and Dagger, Shang Chi, Hawkeye, Magneto, oh god they are begging to kill themselves.

If stupid Spy Kids made a lot of money I can see Power Pack working.
I can buy Luke Cage, althought I'd have it go straight to DVD, same with Punisher 2.

No need for a Wolverine movie, we had 3 of them already, however it might work.

Dr. Strange just might be good enough, Jonny Depp should star.

I'm happy with everything else, especially my beloved Thor.

the fact that there spliting the avengers this thin sucks, first off,hawkeye.........unless its written as urban robin hood itll suck but robin hood films are cool so ok.ant man needs to be a comedy.I dont think the avengers film will have a big enough budget though, iron mand and hwakeye will eat three qauters on there own.O well, itll be nice to see them.

I'm really looking forward to a Power Pack movie. As long as it stays true to the comic, it should be far better than any of those typical Spy Kid type movies, and is the type of movie that should do really well at the box office. There's also the potential for cross-overs in sequels since the FF and X-Men frequently appeared in PP.

Hawkeye won't take too much of the budget. Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor will. Hulk too if he's in it.

I don't see the logic for films like Cloak and Dagger, Shang Chi and Hawkeye. They had enough problems with Hulk, FF4, DD, and Elektra. What makes them think these films would even have a chance.

Straight to DVD ok, but come on these films will be about a hundred million to a hundred forty million each, no way they will make that up. Superman hasn't even cracked two hundred million yet. (Thank the Gods)

Hawkeye I can understand. They want to make an epic Avengers movie and in order to do that, you need your characters to have their own movie first.

Shang Chi, I can somewhat understand. It'll be cool to see a martial arts film based on a comic book character.

Cloak and Dagger though, it just a plain bad idea.

Superman Returns has made about $337 million and is the 7th highest grossing movie of the year so far jackass :o

Same here. I had no idea who they were until i just looked it up.
Skull Kill Krew is a shortlived comic from the 90s and Alter Ego is based on the marvel comic called Alias.

I read about Alter Ego before. Not only was it going to be based on the book Alias, but also be similar to the television series Alias. Following the life of Jessica Jones. There's also a chance Luke Cage could make a guest appearence. If ever the series is taken into full swing.

Agreed, that would be pretty cool.

ant-man and captain america in 2008?

A analyst asked about that in Marvel's Conf Call, and they say they are trying to get another film out for 2008, but only if things are right.

I want Punisher 2 to be made before I die. Marvel not giving it a date looks bad :(

That still isn't near as much as most jackasses were predicting. "I'll top Spidey's box office." they said. "It'll be the highest grossing film of the year." they said.
