they're shooting the movies back to back thats 2 movies. 15 mill isn't that much for 2 movies in famous movie star land. 50 mill for two movies on the other hand is.

"sources close to negotions report the deal has been finalized and filming is set for (insert date)"... because as of now that source or report does not exist. The world does not revolve around Spiderman for everyone... including Dunst and even Sony. Both parties are more than capable of moving on.

Now, if she's getting about 8M a picture, double that (SM4/SM5) and that's 16M. But this isn't a regular film, her agent knows how much Tobey is getting and how much these films have grossed, so these numbers to Sony are normal. Truth is, I'm more surprised at how much they are willing to pay Tobey (50M, plus Box Office/DVD money). We all know that most actors are over paid, I don't get why you're hesitant to believe.

visionary you have common sense I guess no one understands that if an actor gets lets say 8 million currently for movies and previously they have played a key character in a franchise thats made 3 movies that have all grossed over $800,000,000 worldwide each.
that for her to make two movies her pay would be doubled hence the conclusion on 16million, and no matter how bad this movie will turn out Sony knows it will prob still make them another 800,000,000.

Exactly, that's pretty much how Sony thinks, so paying Tobey/Kirsten the big bucks is worth it to them. Keep in mind this is a 'Multi-Billion' dollar franchise.

I'm strictly going on what is reported as how much Kirsten gets paid a picture. Every actor has an asking price per film, and it's usually reported by Forbes Magazine or in the Hollywood trades.

I would say if Kirsten is in both SM4/SM5 (that's being shot back to back) she'll get paid in the range of 15/20M for both films.

If Dunst is not back you will especially be hearing it from me.

Hey, I'm hoping that you're right, I hope that they're all not coming back, but I seriously doubt it. I don't think they're worth the money, most importantly, I don't think they want to be in these films anymore.

What rule states that I have to give you set figures? I'm sticking with 15/20, she'll get paid extremely well regardless, for doing the exact same thing in all three previous films, thanks to the filmmakers.

It doesn't even matter what the final number is to me... that article pretty much implies that Sony hasn't even talked to Dunst's agents as of yet... unless Raimi is just clueless which I doubt.
