Being negative and blathering the same negative talking points in any mainstream game thread are two different things. He was asked to stop, he didn't so he was probated. I agree with you though. He is a coward. If he wanted to send me the PM, fine. I'm sure from his perspective I deserved it, but no one else did. It's just a s**tty thing to do to your fellow gamers.

Yeah, I'm not complaining about how this has been handled. It's just disappointing when a guy I thought was probably cool underneath the overly negative/opinionated facade proves not to be so. I agree with you though, it was fine to send the PM to just you! t:

I never had a negative interaction with the guy but he still bothered to post the "endings" on my profile page.

Little did he know that I haven't played any of the ME games and was waiting for this final entry to come out to play the entire series in one go. I already forgot what he wrote on my page because most of the terminology is alien to me.

Talk about a massive fail in trolling.

I was mad at first, but seeing how shamelessly he's delved into preschool antics, I find it quite funny. He's pretty much confirmed/proved every accusation and complaint everyone has ever had about him. Validation is awesome.

Yea, i gotta give wicked props to Matt. I mean iv deff been harsh on the mods before, especially the ones that patrol this section, but Matt was on his game. He isolated the situation quickly and hopefully saved a lot of ME fans the annoyance of having the endings spoiled.

He also banned Spock, which, well, its like Christmas came early.

It was cool that I tried to report the post as soon as I saw it and it had vanished before I could do it. Good work. Anything to do with purposeful spoilers needs to be handled effectively (& brutally) and glad that whatever can be done is being done in this case.

I sent urgent PMs to the following users who were not here for Spock's outburst. They have posted in this thread, so I assumed that was a good place to start.

I figure he may have PMed a couple of them so I should give them a warning.

Can you guys think of any other ME thread regulars who needs a PM sent their way?

What Spock did was bad form, but I always liked him and never had a real problem with him. Oh well, he's still on my Steam friends list. I'll still miss him here though.

Also I have to find my copy of ME2 and load my saves, I think I still have unfinished side missions to do. At least my saves are in weird places that I don't recall. I knew I should have checked a week ago.

Why not look at which posters have replied in the ME threads? That'll give you a good idea who else is a potential victim - especially those with higher post counts within the ME threads. You'll be less likely to miss anyone that way.

This is easily the best day iv had on these forums(minus the spoilers and all). Mass Effect is out, the new info for the ASM game sounds awesome, the cover art for Hitman has been released and the icing on top of it all, Spock is gone. Great day to be a part of the SHH.

also, for those who have the game, is the Character Creator in the real version the exact same as the CC in the demo? Are there more hairstyles, options, etc. in the real CC?

and, if I import my ME 2 Shep ( or use the same facecode ), will she look the same in ME 3?

in the demo, my ME 2 Fem Shep facecode produced an entirely different looking character in ME 3.

I swear this has been the LONGEST wait for me to play a game that was in my possession, haha. I got it this afternoon, then let my sister play it some, now I'm installing both discs to my 360 and downloading the DLC and preorder weapons. Man i just want to play!!!!

Yea he got put on probation for being, well for being Spock, he didn't like that, threw a tantrum the likes of a 4 year old, then started posting spoilers to the game. Now he's gone.



Theres been some problems with the importer, but i believe thats how its supposed to work. I can't be certain tho as iv yet to fire up the game, plus iv always used default Shep
