I'm mixed on Vega,The"dance"scene was great to me,I overall prefer the other Latino in the armory..He's cool/nice/still seems tough and plus I love the fact that he's GAY!!!!

I was caught off guard with"and my Husband"But I f'n love that there's a male gay character and that he's not a stereotypical girly guy But just a regular guy who happens to be gay,Even when he has tears for his husband he still toughens up!!

It's weird that I have no problem reading and watching the endings of this game, but someone says, "Vega's gay." and I'm thinking, "God...damn it! Spoilers!"

I didn't care much for the multiplayer in the demo, but for some reason I'm digging it now. Having trouble deciding which class I like using best.

Nevermind. I thought you were talking about Vega.

I only played multiplayer once in the demo and none in the game yet,I'm sure I will latter on But I'm focused on the single-player campaign!!

So...[blackout]The Council are still *******s and apparently Udina dyes his hair now. I hate that Udina is automatically the Councilor. I picked Anderson. I don't like when the game undoes the choices I've made. It makes me feel like they were pointless.[/blackout]

You can do that in the options menu.

Tried. Only gives the option to take it off during cut scenes.

I've seriously never understood what people dislike about him so much. Especially now that the game is out and surprise, surprise he's actually kind of cool.

I knew I was going to hate him but I didn't expect to hate him as much as I do.

I hope I can get him killed in some way. He's worse than Anders in DA.

I don't mind Vega, but Freddie Prinze Jr isn't the right voice actor for him.

Yep. It really makes you wonder what the whole point of marketing this series as being about "choices and consequences" is when Bioware is just going to impose their preferred version of things on you in the long run.

I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise though. Back when Dragon Age II was in the pipeline, one of the devs said on their forums that they have no problem overriding a player's choice if it suits their needs.

Graphically...it looks like Mass Effect. Gameplay-wise, it's a moderate improvement. It's not the big jump that you saw from 1 to 2, but there are a lot of good changes.

The graphics are slightly better, but the gameplay... I only play as a soldier and it's way more fluid. The core mechanics are the same but sprinting and rolling make it feel a lot tighter and faster. Plus with the weight/cooldown bonus implemented it's insanely fun since I'm walking around with only an assault rifle and pistol, fully upgraded which left my bonus at +200%.

Now I can go into adrenaline burst, gun folks down, fire off a concussive shot that will freeze/inflame/disrupt whoever it hits, go back into cover and do it all again as soon as I reload. It's insane. And yet still tough coz Cerberus don't stop flanking and husks can easily overwhelm when they're coming from every direction. So much fun.
Ok thanks.

MC gonna try that combo..sound awesome! lol

Yeah, it's unfortunate because it is a missed opportunity. They talk about past choices effecting your readiness rating. So make it happen. If Earth's Councilor is on Earth during the time of the attack that should GREATLY weakens Earth's standing on the Citadel. Have that be reflected in my score. If it's a consequence that I must face, so be it. Let my choices matter for better or worse.

Anyway, I gotta say, I love the memorial wall on the Normandy. I notice they list Jack as "Jacqueline Nought," (the name that she submitted poetry under in her Shadow Broker files). :funny:

One minor glitch....
Kasumi and Jack are both on the list, but Zaeed is not (even though he died in my transferred file alongside Kasumi and Jack). I hope they fix that in a patch.

Grissom Academy was amazing. Head over there ASAP folks.

That's my major gripe with the series. Now that I've lowered my expectations and have finally accepted player choice is a gimmick, I can enjoy the little things such as seeing a familar face and talking about the old days.

So Miranda's big cameo is a repeat of helping her from the second game ? If the only time we see her is at the Citadel Hospital then that is annoying

In regards to Anderson...

I could have sworn he said he handed over the Councilor position to come back to Earth at the beginning of the game

I haven't finished the game yet But it seems this is the end and it's a true trilogy,Much like Halo&Gears..I think there's potential to continue the universe with new series,With Mass Effect there is even much more to explore with the vast amount of locations/characters/species/planets/etc!!!

What I'd like see for a forth game is..

Setting-Years or even over 100 years after ME3

Character-You pick one from different species and different career backgrounds(Soldier/Mercenary/Councillor/Assassin/Engineer/Etc)

Species-Keep most of them But whole new clothing for everyone,Add new species

Threat-A new Galactic threat even meaner/stronger/powerful&tougher than the Reapers,But not robotic and just being a mix of other species in humanoid form

Past characters-Shepard&most main crew members could be referenced and be statues or codex on big screens at a new Citadel, different stories to their"Legacy"to tie in with the different endings to each game and background for Shepard in each one

Story-Not sure But I'm sure Bioware can come up with more goods

We could get ties to a fourth from Liara and Wrex.. As if it's 100 years or more beyond 3...they'll both still be alive.

You don't save her sister again either way,I put I have time and she said that she'll take care of it and not my problem or something like that, that she knew I was busy and she was there just to talk a bit

[blackout]I guess Bioware is Pro Ashley / first love interest[/blackout]

Just finished the Tuchanka missions.

Mordin! :(

Yeah, when my Shepard said"I'm sorry"and Mordin said"not me,has to be me"and then the elevator went up..I was silent and almost teary eyed for the rest of the cut-scene

He did. Due to events in the books.

Just because it's explained in narrative apparently does not mean it's not BioWare lying about our choices and consequences and they're forcing their preferred design on us, though.

BioWare = unshackled overlord, and now we have to spend all day calculating pi, you know. :csad:
