Fantasy Masters of the Universe - Part 3

Let's say I suggest Ezra Miller for He-Man. He can also dye his hair

If Centineo (sp?) sticks strictly to Prince Adam, I don't have a problem with him being cast.
Perhaps they could do what Marvel does with Ruffalo and CGI his face to a "hulkier' body, maybe that was their plan from the start?

What's the point of casting someone who needs a hair dye when there's plenty of blond ones out there that can suit Adam and He-Man?

Were any of all my actors suggestion good enough for the characters?

Uhm, casting someone who needs a hair dye is NOT a problem, and it's definitely not the problem I have with Noah Centineo in the role. I don't find him to be particularly talented or fitting for the role (not because of his hair color), and have doubts about him being able to shake off his "teen magazine" persona. But then again, knowing Tom Rothman, that's probably why the studio attached him as the star of the movie in the first place.

It's not really hair color I'm so concerned about so much as his acting ability and performance.

It's also hard to get worked up about this movie when it's never gotten off the ground. If it actually goes into production I might get concerned.

The Nee brothers have never been able to get this off the ground yet.

I am mostly concerned on the team or lack of a team they hired that is kind of governing the direction of the production.
It seems the length of time it has taken to get the ball rolling on actual filming is alarming.
Does that mean the script still isnt ready? or is it constanlty being re written?
Either is not a good sign.

It means they're unsure if it will make money, so half hearting developing it.

You grew up in the 80's you'd be happy to take your kids to see transformers. Even millennials would be up to watching giant robots fight. He-man? It would have to be really good.

If they are that unsure, give up the rights or sell them & let another company step in who has faith in it.

At this point, pretty much no company.

He-Man is a tough propriety to pull off. And expensive. And I don't know if you've noticed, studios have started shying away from big properties which are untested (or previously unsuccessful) on the big screen, as well.

And by the way, last I've heard they were in negotiations with Netflix to take over the rights.

Came up with more suggestions for Adam: Oakes Fegley and Ed Oxenbould. The latter would probably nail it really good.

If you go younger for Prince Adam how do you deal with He-Man? Basically the Shazam route? But what happens when the Adam actors start going through puberty and start growing like weeds?

They should get someone who's basically a professional bodybuilder to play He-Man. It's over the top, but that's what the character looks like... (or do special effects if the actor isn't ripped)

They don’t even need to do that. Just get a Chris Hemsworth body and you’ll be fine. Hire the trainers for the Marvel movie and they can buff any actor nowadays.

"Adam actors"? Do you want several in the film? :p

De-age the Adam actor with cgi.
And have him in appear in just a few scenes in the sequels.

Now we should all be discussing actors for the characters :)

Well I dont know ANYTHING about his (Dylan Sprayberry) work at all, but someone messaged me previously about him being cast in another big budget movie,so I thought why not? He does have an appelaing look about him at least.

Isn't Dylan also some Disney actor? Don't remember and I don't feel the need to look that up either.

Let's keep on doing that. Jace Norman from Nickelodeon

I don't know.
It was a suggestion someone sent me privately.
Only because everyone seemed to be against the casting of Noah Centineo ,I figure I would throw another name out there.
This movie may never see the light of day.
To quote David Ferrie from JFK (1991) It's a mystery wrapped in a riddle inside an enigma!

What's the hurry? I'd rather wait a couple of years until they get it right, instead of rushing it into production without a strong creative team and script.

By the way, I wouldn't mind if they used this redesign:

The OG look doesn't cut it anymore for a modern adaptation, IMO.
