i have seen a lot of people speculating that Mathis was not guilty and was possibly framed or w/e. my question to those people is what do you think then of le Chiffre's line "it turns out your friend Mathis, is actually my friend Mathis." doesnt that just prove he was guilty right there?

seriousely he could not say vesper told him could he.What leaverage would he have had on bond then?bond would have just said "kill her then"

well it would be a huge coincidence for Bond to have just figured out Mathis is apparently the traitor on his own, and have that be the exact moment Vesper is kidnapped and have le Chiffre chose to say Mathis is the traitor all at the same time.

it was only when vesper mentioned mathis he thought about it.he was rather busy beforehand.

lechiffre was on the run it was his only time to grab her.

telling bond mathis was the trator was so he could use a threat against vesper on him.
