Matsuda off The Batman

He was to the batman as Timm was to the DCAU. Shoe he made the show worked on storys, character desighs stuff like that.

Thank you for giving us The Batman (Parts of Seasons 1-3 and from 4 on) and Jackie Chan Adventures.

did he also do some of the early turtles work as well and maybe some of the newer heman stuff

they all look like they are animated by the same company...

I haven't seen my evil Bizarro counterpart in quite sometime. I thought he left or something

Anyways, I'm surprised that Matsuda left. I'm curious on how they will procede without him.

Good, to be honest I think he has done some okay work with The Batman, but its not half of what TAS was, and its always going to be in TAS's shadow anyway.

I'm always watching.

It just strikes me as funny is all. People's opinions of the show look like they've turned 180 degrees around and they're now accepting it much more. I guess waiting to see what else the creative team has in store was the right thing to do, like I've said all along.

Stupid fanboys.

No, it was the 180 the show made in terms of quality that turned "stupid fanboys" around. :whatever:

I agree. The fanboys, like me, started shifting when THE BATMAN either displayed quality or potential for it. That was almost impossible until the finale of Season 1 or bits of Season 2.

My reaction is mixed. Yes, Season 4 of THE BATMAN is the best yet, and will be even if the last 3 episodes bomb (which I honestly doubt is happening). Season 2 was also good and the finale to Season 1 was strong. But we had a shoddy introduction, and a lot of Season 3 felt bogged down by the inability to capture a Batgirl who wasn't annoying. His designs have been hit or miss; some are great and others are just bizarre.

There probably is someone better out there, though, and as the writers are stepping up, I could still see Season 5 working. Perhaps even better. Duplicating the style isn't the issue; I've seen fanartists on MB's able to duplicate it.

It's not that at all. We "fanboys" stayed the same. The creative team was what did the 180 and went from bad, to actually good. It's no BTAS or TNBA, but at least the Batman doesn't suck balls anymore like it used to. Kudos to the creative team for doing that.
