Will someone please tell me Mattel is going to be releasing a 6-in Movie Masters Burton/Keaton Batman already....GEEZUS man!!!! :doh:

Well, that pic looks like a statue rather than an action figure - no joints. What's that from?

That is one awesome statue!!! cant wait. Does anyone know how much these will retail for?

If it's the same as the Lynda Carter as WW, and Chris Reeves as Supes statues,which it looks like it's standing next to,(12-13" tall, made of cold cast porcelain) likely between $175-$200.

Looks nice if not entirely accurate. They didn't color the flesh around the eyes with black. Not too bad though, that's a minor nit-pick, easily fixed. And that may change anyway by the time it's released.

Being released in October. I believe $195. Just got off the phone with my comic shop. This is supposed to be in next months Previews for advanced solicitation. Im already down for one. This and the mini bust! Hell yeah. Its about friggin time.

For the 89 pieces, yes. Im also looking to get the new Hot Wheels 1:50 scale releases, simply because they are from the old movies. And Im likely to get those retro Mego looking dolls (Batman and Two Face), other than that, I dont see anything else that interests me. But these items alone is enough to keep me content for the year.

Definitely with you on collecting any 89 batman pieces. Also i do like the retro mego batman and two-face. Hope a joker and riddler arent to far away. I'll also be picking up the new 1:50 scale hot wheels. Love this line but damn they are hard to track down sometimes.

If I had space in my room I'd start collecting statues but those high prices practically takes all of my paycheck.

:wow::wow::wow:

it's beautiful!!!

i was going to get the bust, but i find it really small for the price ($80 for a 5 inch bust? no thanks)

but i will definately get the statue

glad to know that it's coming out this year as well

as soon as i see a pre-order online, i am buying that baby!

it's gonna look good next to my other 2 Batman statues (Begins and Jim Lee "Hush")

this statue is f-ing beautiful

it's gonna retail for $195 and it comes out in October :yay:

OK, that's better. I wasn't really worried, sometimes these early prototypes don't accuarately reflect the final product. Even thoungh I really don't have the room, I may break down and buy this, but maybe not for a while, perhaps if it comes down to a price I'm more comfortable with. We'll see. But it looks REALLY NICE.
