"Kick-Ass is an upcoming 2010 superhero film based on the comic book of the same name by Mark Millar and John Romita, Jr. The film is directed by Matthew Vaughn (Layer Cake, Stardust)."

Synopsis:"The plot of Kick-Ass concerns a lonely teenage boy called Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), who decides to become a real-life superhero after being inspired by the heroes of comic-books. He soon encounters a mysterious vigilante called Big-Daddy (Nicolas Cage), and his daughter Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz), who are working to bring down a drug baron."

At Comic Con this year "Kick Ass" made a huge impression on audiences that attended the event which was reported to be on par with the reaction "Iron Man 2" , "Tron:Legacy" and "Avatar" received.

For any comic book movie fans or anyone who has read the comic which this adaptation is based on, or anyone who is interested in seeing a comic book film break the expectancy of what you'd find in your usual super hero movie.

All I know is that finally Nicolas Cage stars in a great movie after all these years. I haven't seen this film yet but this looks so incredibly awesome.

The footage (1 trailer, 4 clip) has been leaked and I won't post the videos as I don't want to get into trouble but they aren't exactly difficult to find.
