For some reason they had Mary's backstory telling us she was captured in the country of sokovia, makes no sense maybe its just a harmless nod or maybe setting up something who knows.

I didn't spot too many references outside of the netflix series. Misty did say that a Code 616 means suspect with abilities, that's a nice touch and I hope it becomes the go-to code number for police to use in the MCU.
