Sequels MCU Fan Theories for post end game -SPOILERS!!!

So now that endgame has ended, let’s discuss some of the better fan theories we have heard about the future of the MCU


Obviously the nature if this conversation will have spoilers so if you haven’t seen something tirn back now

1. Kang is coming. Its beyond obvious. The avengers mucked with the time stream something fierce. There is one surefire way to close the door to future time mucking to fix problems and that is to have deadly and dire consequences arise from it, and that future big bad event is Kang

2. Several theories hinge on the avengers use of the gauntlet... its very probable that they simply didn’t know how to really use it... thanos, who had ages to research it, barely could. This is why everyone uses a snap when a mere thought was good enough... thanos used a snap because his plan was huge, intricately complicated, and extremely planned out. He didn’t use it outside of his plan. It was obvious with his use of individual time stones that he did have a good idea how to use them. His design was to only enact his plan on the snap, which is why it doesn’t immediately happen when he got the stones.


Tony stark fills the adam warlock role in the MCU infinity saga. His snap was impulsive and off the cuff. He had no real clue how to weld it outside of the snap aimed at thanos, but without focus and planning and a clear mind he could have done anything along with that even in the brief moment he used it

In the comics, Warlock accidentally and unknowingly split the aspects of good and evil off himself so he could use the gauntlet without emotional interference.

Both his good side and evil side return as major Marvel crossover crisis level villains. If RDJ ever shows up again, it would be great if he did as the Big Bad in a Magus like role


2a Likewise the Hulk tried to bring Nat back...he admitted tried “ everything” this is sure to have consequences. We know the stones absolutely can bring back the dead, even the conventionally killed, his inability to do so aside who knows what he did while doing that...

Theories abound from bringing past villians back, to alternative timelines, to something that causes the maestro to arrive

3. Secret invasion is still coming

Look, Captain Marvel events aside, a war can be fought between two sides and niether can be the “good side” maybe the skrulls, or some skrulls at least, were just escaping persecution, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t violent vengeful or otherwise ill intentioned members of the race... we see what appears to be a skrull in the high school scene... but that isn’t the interesting fan theory

50% of the population vanished... more died... this surely opened up a huge gap of who exists and who doesn’t... infiltration would be easy if some skrulls were interested in conquest ... maybe the kree, who are known dicks, weren’t totally lying about them.. and maybe, just maybe, steve Rodgers never completed his task in the past... maybe pre Captain Marvel skrulls hijacked him and old steve isn’t at all what he seems...

4. Odin lives... master manipulator Odin basically faked his death because he knew what was coming... he is off hiding somewhere in the cosmos and thor will run into him. This theory also says that his sis is also still out there as is loki, and the events around the next thor movie will lead to beta ray bill getting stormbreaker

5 Atlantis was introduced in the earthquake scene near the start.. Submariner is arriving shortly.....

The ancient one said that removing a stone from her reality would leave it vulnerable to attack from dark forces.

Thanos destroyed all 6 in our reality. We are sure to face these dark forces she was talking about. Shuma gorath etc... Take your pick.

An odd and rather improbable one crossed my path today... the young avengers is likely coming sooner or later, and the role Tony’s daughter will play in it isn’t as cut and dry as some other characters... everything from ironheart to miss America to a weird version of moon dragon has been tossed out... but the end result will be she sacrifices her existence to undo everything thanos did altogether and bring her dad back... thus erasing the five year gap and rebooting the mcu

She's 7. I doubt they will sacrifice a child on screen. So it will be quite a while (as i doubt they will do another time jump).
I doubt they are planning that far in the future.
