the two best movies (TA, IM3) are above the others quality wise, but all in all they are all pretty good. 7/7 for me.
I voted 5/7.
1.) The Avengers - This is pretty much my favorite CBM ever. Well, I'd probably give it the same rating as TDK, but for entirely different reasons.
2.) Iron Man - A damn near perfect origin film to me.
Those are the only two MCU movies I deem to be straight-up "excellent." The others don't reach those heights, imo, but 3 others I'd still put in the "good" category...
3.) Iron Man 3 - I thought the script was great, and I don't care what they did to The Mandarin. I thought for the purposes of the film, it was a good twist, and Kingsley was awesome. While I wouldn't rate it as highly as the two above, it does still get an enthusiastic "great" from me.
4.) Captain America: The First Avenger - a very solid and entertaining adaptation of Cap's origins, and I'd argue it might just have the most heart of all the MCU films so far.
5.) Thor - this one borders on "poor" to me at times, but Hemsworth, Hiddleston and the humor save it...for the most part.
The two I don't consider to be "good movies"...
6.) Iron Man 2 - It's entertaining enough I suppose, but it's the only one of the franchise to make me dislike Tony Stark and Pepper Potts. They and their banter were just annoying in this film to me, the villain was a complete dud, the pacing was off, the action was underwhelming and Black Widow was a very blandly-established non-character in it (especially when compared to her far superior portrayal in Avengers). The one thing I often see this film getting criticized for that I DON'T have a problem with is all the SHIELD/Avengers set-up it in it. I enjoyed that stuff, tbh.
7.) The Incredible Hulk - I didn't care for Norton in the lead role, hated the look of The Hulk, and the storyline and characters just didn't involve me at all. I wasn't even impressed with that final fight. Everything about this film just left me cold.
