People need to chill. Jeez. It's no worse than when R2-D2 said Beep-Boop-Beep-Beep.

I swear, R2 said a variation of it a couple if years ago, he got praised, Groot says "I am Groot" in 2019, he's vilified.

"Beep-Boop-Beep-Beep" and "I am Groot" are nothing alike. Now... If either had said, say, "Hodor" or "Pikachu" that might be another story.

Yeah, not really the same...Not to mention - even if they were - everyone tends to brush things like "Beep-Boop-Beep-Beep" off when it's a dome-stuck-in-the-stars-astro-droid possibly suffering from crossed wires... not his fault and he claims he got his problem fixed.

Groot on the other hand, while there's no problem with branching out, is still supposed to be firmly rooted to the ground.....I do kind of understand what he means though when he flowers his language with the likes of "I am Groot"
