If Colossus was deaged, it would just become another fourth wall joke. (shrugs)

OK, so first class: Scott/Jean/Beast/Ororo + Rogue and the inevitable Logan as a teacher OR Colossus and Kitty.

Second class: girl above not in First class, Nightcrawler, Iceman, Banshee, Psylocke, ?
Introduce Gambit as a villain one film after adding Rogue.

Third class: Havok, Magik, New Mutants characters.

Eventually Scott, Jean, Ororo and Beast all get teaching degrees. Bring in Cecelia Reyes.

As a Rogue fan I don't need her to show up in the first movie. There's far more "important" X-men than her.

Like who? She's been the #3 woman with Jean and Storm since the '90s cartoon.

Yes!

I really, really want the MCU Bobby to be gay.

Okay, then the actor for Colossus would have to be recast and I don't see Reynolds being ok with that

The X-Men will not become part of the MCU.
Once the merger go through, Walt Disney Company will keep Fox Studios as a separate entity from Walt Disney Studios, meaning all licensing contracts will stay in place.
Keven Fiege and Marvel Studios won’t be able to get they hands on the X-Men, even though they will have the same parent company.
Right now WD Studios, Marvel Studios, Pixar and Lucasfilms are all do specialise productions.
Disney wants a conventional studio with a more broad appear, in other words Disney wants a studio that is not specialise in a narrow theme. A studio that will make a variety of films like action, scifi, horror, drama, comedies and R rated movies.
So Deadpool fans, you have nothing to be worried about, you’ll still get your R rated Deadpool.

The spiritual successor to the FFINO legacy has arrived

He comes burdened with glorious purpose

Oh please do

You have no idea how excited I am about this. Someone post the bob Iger quote about all the fox characters being in the MCU and about how Deadpool will still remain R rated in that universe

I need to hear all the mental gymnastics

Pretty soon the Fox-Men fans are gonna make a "Keep Hope Alive" thread.

Keep Hope Alive for what though?

And wouldn't that be the anti-Keep Hope Alive thread, which should really be named "Keep Hope Dead" then?

Or "Keep Despair Dead" if you really want to be anti.

This poster is doing us a great service, especially in a day and age when the fox marvel brand is about to become extinct

Thank you for this, compgar.

That seems to be the new excuse across the internet. Pre-existing "Contracts" will stop the X-Men from coming to the Mic

If only DigificWriter were here to argue that.

If it's not pre-existing contracts, it's Constantin, or something or other.

“Hey Kevin, so we obviously love what you’re doing with marvel studios and all, but we’re gonna keep x-men as a separate thing. And Deadpool too. Hope you understand. We don’t like money anymore apparently. Have a good one!”

Oops, Magik and the New Mutants should be fourth.
A third still needs Warren, Alex Summers, Laura and Jubilee.

You guys think Disney is only buying Fox get the X-Men and F4, no.
Fox is much bigger than that. Disney want all of Fox’s catalog.
Fox will be Disney’s conventional studio wing.

Literally no one here thinks that they bought all of fox just for their marvel film properties

So how do you explain this quote straight from Bob Iger, champ?

”We’re also looking forward to expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe to include X-Men, Fantastic Four and Deadpool..."

We have the opportunity to expand iconic franchises for new generations of fans just as we have done with Marvel and*Star Wars... We’re also looking forward to expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe to include*X-Men, Fantastic Four*and*Deadpool."

It was also mentioned in the press release on the official Disney website

Clearly, Bob Iger, CEO of The Walt Disney Company, misspoke when making that comment.
