EDIT: Nevermind...Seibertron messed up on their reporting and all news of Welker voicing Megatron is still speculation.

Well, Seibertron (Ryan) has deleted his post. Jeez...what the hell is wrong with the world?

I have zero idea where Seibertron got its info...but they are rarely a bad source of info. I guess he jumped the gun and got some bad info...really sucks and I guess I should have this thread closed/deleted so that people won't get confused.

KR Solidus from DM.net has an explanation:

I called Ryan immediately upon learning that this was false.

He explained this as a site malfunction. He had a "lead" that this would be this year's "big news" and had posted the story in advance, and made it inactive and supposed to be invisible. That way in case it's announced, he could just "hit the button" and it's immediately visible as news.

However, it only partly worked. The actual News Story was invisible as intended, yet somehow the forum post that is generated by a News Story still got generated. They're all fairly busy up there at Botcon and this was a time saving measure gone wrong.

This post is now gone, I deleted it the second I was aware of the confusion.
