Supergirl begins filming next week. And it looks like Melissa is going even more blonde. Saw this photo pop up on Instagram a few times but unsure of the ORIGINAL source. But...

I was about to add I found the ORIGINAL source. It's a stylist from L.A.'s Nine Zero One Salon. It's from a stylist named riawna. She posted on her Instagram...

This is really going for the natural look. And you know...IT WORKS!

I really like this look on her. It looks so summery and light and young. That colour reminds me of someone I know in real life who also looks just as beautiful with that shade of hair.

 

What I'm trying to figure out is where did her bangs go? The thank you video at the Saturn Awards shows her with bangs in New Mexico. Hmmmm...... Inteeeerrrreeeessssttttiiiiing.

 

She needs to take some pictures in a summer dress now in a field of wheat or sunflowers.

 

Beautiful pic, Melissa suits the hairstyle and colour.

 

I wish they would do some flashbacks of Kara in High School, she could totally play Kara in high school.....that pic proves it.

 

That would be a fantastic episode.

But would that mean that she was blonder in high school but has gradually gone darker?

But the actress who plays the young Kara has darker hair too. It's almost a kind of reddish brownish blonde that she has.

Unless she actually changed her hair colour. But I like this for her current colour. It looks particularly girlish and pretty and more princess-like.

 

Never watched Glee, but wasn't she a full brunette? Or is naturally?

Anyway, lovely picture of a beautiful woman.

 

She was a full brunette. I actually think she looks better as a blonde. And a light blonde in particular.

Some people before said it wouldn't look natural if she went lighter and that's why she stayed darker. But this picture obviously proves otherwise. And I know someone who was darker haired before like Melissa who has also gone this shade of blonde and it also looks totally natural and far more striking with this colour than brunette.

 

The bangs are probably a clip on so she looks more like the real person she's portraying. I like the lighter look but the colorist(s) who work on her hair are going to have to be very very careful. It's all too easy to cause irreparable damage when going lighter and sometimes that damage doesn't show up right away.

She's a natural brunette. She brought pictures of herself as a kid when she was on Ellen.

Here's hoping season 3 will be as sunny like she looks now.

 

Now that is a good blonde look for her! I need some new promo pics with this new hair.

 

Helen Slater was also a natural brunette but looked better as a lighter blonde. She ended up staying that way for the rest of her life. Melissa should consider that too.

 

I guess that is possible, but they don't look like clip ons here....

 

Mechad Brooks should get new haircut now as well. Maybe short dreadlocks but only coming out the top of his head or a Mohawk.

 

....not sure if serious....

He can just stay bald.
