I would've stuck with the decision of not allowing it.

I really don't see any reason to not allow it. It's good publicity, and very much like when the Make-A-Wish foundation did that "Batman for a Day" event for the little kid in San Francisco. That was HUGE, and in a good way.

As others have pointed out, there are reasons why any company would be opposed with such a thing happening with their product(s).

As far as Batkid goes, that was essentially one big game of pretend for the kid.
