MIIB 2 destroyed Tommy Lee Jones' character. He lives a happy life at the end of the first one, and then they destroyed it.

And I missed Linda Forlentino's character and her crush on Will Smith.

MIB 2 was an awful, muddled failure. A complete mess. Even if this movie is great, it's still gonna be impossible to do one of those great back-to-back DVD marathons with this franchise because there'll always be a steaming turd of a movie stuck right in the middle.

I am so pumped for this if true. I LIKED MIIB or MIB 2. the ONLY thing did not care for was Jay driving arround in a Mercedes E class. what was so bad about the Ford LTDs? What part of "you will not stand out in any way" line did not make sense from part 1? and the damn thing turned int a spaceship controlled by a CHROME PS2 controller . I liked the MIB car in part 1 better .

The first one was on TV yesterday. It's a very cool movie. Well shot, great chemistry between Smith and Jones and pretty funny aswell. But I'll never buy the DVD. It's on TV, like monthly.
