Are you going to see the new movie?

I say give it a chance. Unless the trailers look like pure crap then I wouldn't blame you.

I'll see it. I liked the first one but it had its problems.

You guys with me?:hulk:

I despised the first one. If this looks promising my ass will be in a seat opening weekend. That is all.

I had a lot of issues with the first film as i'm not a Hulk comic reader but followed the TV series as a child and to me that was my Hulk.
I can't be bothered to go into details on what i did and didn't like as its old hat now.
I just want a good action packed film without the over serious tones.
Bana was a good choice and if he's back then great i'd just like a different tone with similarities to the TV series in certain aspects but more updated and with plenty of action, and not a 15ft Hulk about 8 - 9ft is enough. Part man, part machine, part cgi!

i think this was part of the reason why so many people didnt get the first film, they really were looking for the Jolly Green Giant and instead what they got was a character study on rage, which is essentially what the Hulk is all about.

hell my first introdcution to The Hulk was the TV seiries too, but i did pick up a few of the comics and read up on him wherever just so that i could figure out what the character was about-- just getting really big and green and smashing stuff is pretty shallow (to me anyway) and i realized how much deeper this character really is.

i liked the first Hulk movie, dogs and all. i really hope that the cast can come back because i was really happy with their performances.

all movies deserve a chance, i think as long as they balance story with action..it should be fine..i would love it to be more like the tv show..i prefured that incarnation..and i think HULK shouldn't grow to 15 ft like he did in th first movie..

I await with baited breath for when filming begins.

Regardless of how I feel about the first film, which I did find dissapointing, I'll be seeing this one too: It's the Hulk, I aint gonna miss that (btw- they are off to a good start by calling it "the Incredible Hulk" imo)

I liked the first movie also, I watched it repeatedly when it first came out. Could have used a lot more action though.

The first film was great.... highly underated in my opinion, hopefully we do get to see an "awesome sequal" that fits in and holds true to fans, not just some mindless sequal...

Your right and its my fault i didnt read any of the comics, i have watched the film a few times but it's not one of my favourites (it should be) because i feel closer to the Hulk than probaby any other superhero i was absolutely gutted with what i saw.
Don't get me wrong and i'm not hear to bash anyone or the film as there were some things in it i loved, i suppose i missed the action i was expecting to get and the feelings i got from the TV series.

Well i'll be here for this one and i just hope its a better film for me than the first, i was all hyped up for SR and followed the process for years, i finally watched it and it wasn't what i expected.
I liked it but it didn't beat CR in STM by a long shot, I just want my Hulk Movie, it's not too much to ask for, i know you all feel the same way.

You just want a great Hulk film.

Incredible will be much better.
they are aimed towards action, not so much character development.
im really looking forward to 2-2.5 hours of hulk smashing and abomination.
ill be there opening night, pending trailer if its good or bad.

Just saw the first one last night and really enjoyed it on second viewing after all these years but anyway i would have given this one a chance b/c It's Hulk:up:

After watching Hulk last night i am inclined to agree, that film was not one of my favourites but last night on only my second viewing i picked up on it's subtle quality and it's brilliant use of visuals and editing, still flawed but now the origin is done i think Ang could have given everyone something they wanted with a sequel

if Singer will be given the chance to direct the SR sequel he must have a better agent (or lawyer) than Ang did. to me these two directors and the film they helmed are pretty much on the same category: good, solid movies that lacked the popcorn factor.

I have alot of hope for this flick, but I am very uninpressed by the writers fondness for Bruce Jones run, and for the TV show. The director just seems like he's in it for the paycheck from what Im reading.

I like the comics and the TV show. That said, I liked alot of the movie. I did not like his fathers involvement at all. IMO. I will be first in line for the next one.

I'll be seeing this one on DVD. The trailers for the first one looked iffy to me but I decided to give it a chance. Utter waste of my time. I felt sorry for dragging my family and fiance to it afterwards.

Unless the trailers simply blow my mind away, I'm gonna wait this one out until DVD. Even if it is a reboot.

Same with me. The CGI looks crappy in most parts. Especially the jumping was too much. I never knew the HULK was supposed to be that extremely big and jump around for miles.
After reading his origin and some storylines I bought the big DVD set (with the comic + extra DVD) and enjoyed the movie much more.

I still would like to see more action though. But I'm definitely looking foreward to this.

The only things I didn't like about the first film was the decision to use multiple images (or comic book panels) in the shots, and also the ending with Absorbing Dad. So I will definitely be there for the new film.

Hulk was a great film. Ang's vision for it was perfect. Now we're getting the Uwe Boll version of it, only without Uwe Boll. "The Incredible Hulk"? Someone needs to tell Avi Arad that the entire approach to this do-over/sequel hybrid he has in mind would have been good...two decades ago.

First one sucked, but it sounds like they realized they screwed Hulk over in the first, so I'll see it regardless of the trailer. Hulk's character has a lot of potential on the big screen, but we don't need another one of Ang Lee's screw action, screw the comic character version. But hey I can't blame Ang, he was just too busy thinking about gay cowboys.

What a concise award-winning low blow. So you admit that even if the trailer is horrid you'll still go and watch it just to see your version of the Hulk realized? Congrats. Now re-watch the film and realize there's more to moviemaking than the Stealth or X3 approach.
