Michael or Prince?

Just because I haven't done this in a while & we have some newcomers, name your top & bottom 3 songs by each artist regardless who you prefer.

Here's how you do it, my friend.

U know it playa.:word:

I challenge any MJ fan to show proof of Mike doing
any instrumental performance besides "human beat box":whatever:
That can compair to Prince.

It will NEVER happen. LOL!!!

Don't get me wrong...
I don't hate Mike...He just wasn't as good as Prince across the board...Period.

There is no doubt in my mind....Prince is far superior...(Not a super fan of either...I like both alright but come on...Prince is more talented)

Playing instruments doesn't mean your music is better; not playing them doesn't make you a lesser artist either. How many of the people who are hot on the charts play ANYTHING? You got who-Alicia Keys, Chrisette Michele and not a whole lot of others. And yet noone holds it against them.

Videos work better than pictures
Also when I see Guitar: Michael Jackson and Slash I think to myself...hmm...I wonder if slash was obviously the more overpowering guitarist lol

You know what? Show us when Michael Jackson could effortlessly do all this. Sliding on his back, doing the leg spin coffee grinder helicopter six step, doing the splits multiple times and the pike jump which is jumping with his legs straight and touching his feet with his hands in the air.

You showed and proved nothing.:whatever:
Show video proof that Mike can play music. :cwink:

There's not a single damn thing anyone ever said on a message board that changed my opinion on someone or something.

Saying one music artist is better than another because they played instruments is like saying a painter is better than a sculptor.

They all make art in their own UNIQUE way.

Stop the sass and just enjoy both of these great artists.

They're both amazing, completely different artists who've impacted the world and who've given us enjoyable music.

I will say, that I think with all the attention given to Michael's performances, routines, videos & of course, controversies, the thing that gets lost is just how well he could really sing, particularly circa his "Off the Wall-Thriller" era.

Just listen to Lady in my life, his ballads as a whole never got enough credit for his vocal ability IMO. Even uptempo numbers like Off the Wall or Rock with You show just how good he was as a pure singer

Prince is just awesome to me, especially the "dirty" Prince, the one who made the sweltering Insatiable & Scandalous! Listen to Adore, another beautiful song that exhibits Prince's incredible vocal ability that I feel is unappreciated as well. There's no such thing as better between these two, they're both monumental artists

If you can play many instruments, it doesn't make you better artist.

I think that Michael is a lot better. I just enjoy listening his music more and I like his live performances more.

Definitely Michael. I always thought Prince was overrated and by all acounts, he's a little fu**ing pr*ck!
