She was also in "Big Fish" but for some reason it's not listed among her credits.

The latter 2 films DON'T COUNT! She was great in Bolt, but I can't ****ing stand her as Hanna Montana.

Rotten Tomatoes: You FAIL EPICLY!!!!

Bolt was fun . I've not seen her in anything else but she's a sensation with kids , ti makes sense. Box office gross plays a big part in it.

LOL this is Miley's new movie, and it might be positive too!

So, what RT is saying is that Miley Cyrus, the actress who's been an decent actress in ONE MOVIE thus far and sucked in the other two, is rated to be a BETTER ACTRESS than Natalie Portman, Amy Adams, Scarlett Johansson, and Zoe Saldana?

That's the biggest load of ******** I've heard ALL YEAR!:cmad:

Rotten Tomatoes has always been a failure, their scoring system is misleading the majority of them time.

Judging by what I see from the trailer "The Last Song", I predict it will get like a 70%

I dont think anybody really goes by that , I've never heard there was individual ratings until now.

Well, not to try and validate RT's scoring system, but let's fact it, most people's issues with her based solely on the Hannah Montana character. I'd bring up her singing career as herself, but I keep hearing "Party in the USA" played in the most unlikely places!

It goes by how many good movies they star in divided by total movies they are in.

So if "The Last song" is another fresh, she will be 75% rated.

My response to this outrage:

Now, replace "Homer Simpson" with "Miley Cyrus". :hehe:

"Bolt" is the only reason why she's up so high, which is fine, I thought it was a pretty good little kid's film. Well, that and she only has three films listed.

I don't see what the big deal is anyway. If she keeps acting, she'll either be in crappy movies that will bring her percentage down, or good movies that will render this percentage irrelevant. What do we have to loose?

I recently caught an episode of Hannah Montana for the first time a few weeks back. In it, she found out her 2 best friends hooked up and then broke up and her brother had some idiotic scheme to get into college. Overall, standard enjoyable Disney Channel fare. It might have even been good...

...if Miley's character were not a grating, overacting harpy who dresses up like Indiana Jones in a far fetched scheme to get her best friends back together. It's Disney's biggest "Great ensemble cast playing second fiddle to a turd" since The Suite Life Of Zack and Cody.

It always makes me laugh when people take RT scores too seriously.

88% of critics gave Bolt a favorable review, 71% gave the concert a favorable review, 44% gave the Hannah Montana movie a favorable review. These are just percentages of the critics that liked the film.

Now for her page, overall the films she starred in had a 67% average of critics enjoying films which she happened to appear in or be involved with. It doesn't say anything about her acting skills, nor does it make her better then any other actresses.

The fact she has less films listed also makes it easier for her to get a higher score on her page then people who have made more. Like someone mentioned, it's mostly Bolt that gave her such a good rating and she only has two other films to drag that extremely high score down.

One is a concert, so it's not really acting... right?

I mean, I don't care either way what Miley or anybody's RT score is, but still... does that one count? Heh.

This is just a measurement of what percentage of films an actor has appeared in that are fresh & with no minimum number of entries (normally a requirement when you use percentages). It won't have any meaning until she has been in a lot more films. Even then it will not reflect her acting skills, just whether the films she has been involved with have been any good. This rating system only works for films themselves or directors who take overall responsibility for a project, not individuals who only part-contribute.

No it means Miley's RT score is higher than these actresses. Some of these actresses mentioned are great but has been in ton of S. And Bolt rules. Sure her Hannah Montana movie has a bit high rating probably but still.

For those who dont get it. The RT score has nothing to do with acting. The RT rating for a movie is the % of critics who liked the film. 88% liked Bolt. An actors RT score is the average score of all their movies.
