Millenials are being blamed for the decline of American cheese

Oh, I thought this was about over-consumption. Just finished two slices...

Sigh... Another click bait article that the M's will take to heart in some fashion and add to their list of resentments to anyone under 32 who just "doesn't get it". Plus... Actually reading it the sales are slipping 1.6 percent. Is that really some great tragedy?

I know... I know... At this point even the articles themselves kinda admit how BS the whole "Millenials ruin X" thing is. Still... It's tiring seeing the nonsense resentment cycle continue under the noses of what should probably be the three most media savvy generations to ever walk the face of the Earth.

Is there anything millennials aren't responsible for, according to these peabrain clickbait article writers?

I don't see this article as being against millennials. American cheese really is the worst.

Now, THIS post has gone too far!!! :cmad:

:D I actually dislike American cheese. Give me Brie, any day. The cheese, I mean, not the Larson. Well, actually, Brie Larson too, come to think of it...

Every headlines about Millenials would sound really silly if they replace "Millenials" with "adults under 40".

Several could be replaced with Baby Boomers and still have the same impact.

I think American cheese would be more popular among baby boomers.. But then again, my dad is a boomer and his nickname for American cheese is plastic cheese.

Why is American cheese even sold? Don't modern supply chains negate the reason for people wanting this **** versus blocks of actual cheddar?

I tried American cheese once. Once. :down

American cheese is great on:
- burgers
- breakfast sammiches
- steak and cheese subs
