im alittle confused..as to what was the GENERAL thoughts on spider-man 3....I liked it and thought it was one of the best superhero movies....but ive been reading where some people LOVE it while others HATED it....so did the majority of people LIKE it...or the minority??

Easily the minority, though I'm surprised so many folks that didn't read the comics were peterbed by Sandman being Ben's killer.

I'm in the minority of people that loved Spidey3. It seems as though there's a mix of people who liked and didn't like Spidey3 on here and it seems pretty even.

I LOVED spider-man 3, in fact I just watched it on blu ray today and forgot just how good it was. nobody can get past the fact venom has only one fight, but it's a GREAT movie. sucks that I'm the minority, but I knew before the movie came out most people would hate it. it's just the way the hype works, hype it up, then hate it for the rest of your life.

I think more people like Spider-Man 3, just that those who hate it are more vocal about it

There is no minority or majority; that's why they're called mixed reviews.

Yeah I thought this was one of those movies that kind of polarized audiences, regardless of how much $$$ it made in the long run.

This movie is about equal either way.

I tend to agree. It's almost become a given these days to trash the film. When you look at the boards here and on RT(if you count that),then about 60% of people loved or liked the film.

i guess i was in the majority who didnt like it, to be honest i expected a movie not better than sm2 but at least somewhat like it. in the end what killed it for me, was the overly done jokes like the door knob, or the cheese lines at the end in battle royal, on top of that venom dyin after 10 min on screen. i dont know the storyline didnt have too much depth in my opinion..
when walking out of the theater there was a huge crowd with mixed reactions , a lot of them dissapointed, and so was i. right now when i read the news about a spiderman 4 and 5 being filmed simultaneously , i dont get excited anymore and im guessin it will take a lot for the studio to convince that majority who didnt like it to go watch a fourth installment. i just hope they take their time, learn from their mistakes. and leave Raimi alone to do his thing, because the studio was pushin for venom and he was a person who wasnt familiar with the character , he didnt like it.

at this point in the game it would be bad for a re-boot, considerin theres an avengers movie in the works, for the same reason they should make a good spidey 4 film and not follow the schumacher path .

It’s impossible to know really.
And this is a very provocative question, as many people will answer based on their own egocentric reality.
