I'm curious- has nobody at WayneTech noticed the recurring misappropriation of equipment(in reality taken by company chairman Bruce Wayne to assist his anti-crime crusade as Batman)? And how did Alfred and Bruce manage to get some of the Batcave's computer and forensic equipment down there without outside assistance?

most likely everything he gets he actually buys through dummy corps.

like he said he was doing in Batman Begins

From what I understand, in the comics, Bruce doesn't permenately take anything--he either doesn't take it at all and makes it himself, or he reverse engineer it so that he could build it himself. Each time, he always changes it slightly to either improve small parts to it and adds the bat symbol in some way/shape/form.

I'm pretty sure he origionally took stuff from Waynetech. Now, he pays Toyman II to build things for him.

i have always wondered that...how did they build and set up the batcave on their own. but i guess it's like BB, where they do it one thing at a time.

In Batman Begins, he was also taking things in a department so far underground that it was more or less forgotten and people probably assumed that whatever was there 5 years ago was still there and wasn't inventorized.

Also, we need to have some suspension of disbelieve. But they could the stuff down there one at a time.

Have you also noticed that he trespasses, steals evidence, assaults people, breaks traffic laws, trains child-soldiers, lies to his friends and fights dirty?

The man's a menace. He does all kind of bad stuff, dude, that's part of why we like him! So he chisels a bit from the company. That pales in comparison to the rest of his career.

As for setting up the cave, I'm with Seth71. Just go with it, man. It's a comic book, lots of it don't make sense. Sure, like if a cop wants to enlist the aid of a terrorist to help him do his job, he's gonna shine a big light in the sky to call him. That's part of the fantasy, part of the fun. Like doing forensic work or emergency surgery in a dank cave full of bats. Just enjoy it, dude.

-- END!

Pretty much one thing at a time, I'd say. The thing is...the stuff Batman uses NOW A DAYS isn't too spectacular and shocking. Probably the biggest thing he has in the cave is the computer, which during it's debut in the 50's was a big deal, but now...everyone has one.

If Batman were created now a days he wouldn't be all that spiffy because any idiot can really get a hold of the stuff. Hell...you can actually order from South Korean personal grappling devices, even.

Hmmmm...i could use an upgrade on my grapnel hook launcher:rolleyes:

Seriously though....you for real? they really sell those things? I wouldnt mind checking something like that out.

Shadow out
