Missed Chances: Great Casting Choices that Never Happened

I forgot his name but I always thought the actor who played Sawyer on Lost could play a perfect Wolverine. Also:
Neal McDonough- Captain America
Nic Cage- The Joker

I really think Nic Cage could do something insanely amazing with The Joker.

Nic Cage as Joker = Barf! The guy is back to being mid-card "walk through his roles in his sleep" box office poison.

My favorite was Clint Eastwood as old Bruce Wayne/ Batman.

Cage would have made a great Joker. Like Ace said, combine Caster Troy with his role in The Bad Lietenant and you have one kick ass Joker.

Anyway, watching Bronson, I couldn't help but realize that Tom Hardy would make one hell of a Joker. Or Black Mask. He just deserves to be in a Batman film.

Samuel L. Jackson as Albus Dumbledore

Okay, I just made that up, but it would be amazing and you all know it. :o
Dumbledore: "I have had it with these mother-f***ing Death Eaters, in this mother-f***ing castle!"

Who gives a f**k about box office? And how can you say walking through his sleep? Have you seen Kickass? Bad Lieutenant? Adaptation?

Yes, seen them, and I still remember the awful performances in Ghost Rider, Wicker man, and Knowing as well. The guy's more off than on of late, he's doing self parody to much.

Have you noticed the difference between these films? The one with his bad performances are **** films themselves. Therefore, if he was Joker in a good film, it would probably be one of his better performances. Which I would like to see. Not that hard to piece together.

Sonny Chiba as Uncle Iroh
Carey-Hiroyuki Tagawa as Firelord Azul or Avatar Roku

And purely for the fun of it:
Dog the Bounty Hunter as Boba Fett (at least then the character will be somewhat entertaining)

Batman '89

Alec Baldwin - Bruce Wayne/Batman
Ray Liotta - Harvey Dent
Jim Carrey - Joker

don't get me wrong Batman '89 is ranks as one of my favs, but I always wondered what it would've been if they got those three.

Topher Grace - Peter Parker

If a live action G.I.Joe movie were done in the late 80's/early 90's picks were always Ed Harris as Duke and Dylan McDermott as Flint.

Kind of different from the intent of the original post since the movie has yet to be made but I'd say if Steven Spielberg doesn't get off his ass and make his Lincoln biopic soon that Liam Neeson as Abraham Lincoln would be one of the biggest missed opportunities of all time.
