Missing footage thread

The thread for missing footage from the first film got good mileage.

With a new cut coming soon, how about a similar thread for the second movie?

But why wait til 2007? If you know of missing scenes or upcoming specially commissioned new scenes, tell all here!

Well, the one I'm sure everyone knows about, if they've watched the Spider-Man 2 special features, is the Ock/Spidey fight in some apartment.

We saw Ock lying on the floor in an apartment. Spidey is on top of him. The window to the apartment is smashed, suggesting that's where they crashed thru. There's some woman cowering in the corner.

Anyway, Spidey is on top of Ock, then Ock picks him up in his tentacles and starts smashing him into the walls. This was behind the scenes footage we were shown, so Spidey was on wires. They were obviously going to add in the CGI tentacles afterwards.

The scene looked amazing. I hope it's included.

Er, I missed that. And I thought I got watching most/all of the xtras on that disk. There was a real funny message to camera skit with Raimi and Molina that had me in stitches....

I remember that. It was brilliant. Which feature is that on again?? I've been looking for it but I can't find it.

This is not official, but I think it would be cool if they took the "We have some new information" scene and bumped it back towards the end of Spider-Man 2 Extended Edition... i mean, there's SO many stuff cramed in 3 that you have to imagine there's SOME stuff originally planed for 3, that they just decided to move back to 2 Extended...

... like the scene where Raimi's assistant makes a cameo and shines the mirror in Pete's face... the scene where they establish Gwen Stacy... that could be a good one to put near the end of 2 Extended.

Hopefully there will be some new or extended swing sequences especially at the end of the new cut of the movie.

Maybe there will be an extended scene where Harry discovers the Goblin's lair because there have been pictures with Harry holding the Goblin mask in his hands & looking at it.

At least whatever is added back in won't ruin the movie because Spidey 2 rocked as is, it will be great just to see a little new footage added back in but it sucks that it isn't available for release on dvd at the moment.

I will definitely be recording it to vhs & then transfering it on to dvd. What night is it on again Tues January 2nd 2007?

Heres a few missing scenes that didn't appear in the final cut of the film.

-Theres was supposed to be an extra scene with Ursula aka the Chocolate Cake Girl.Not sure where this would have taken place. Before the wedding?

-An extended bit of the Goblin lair scene where Harry picks up the mask.

-A scene where Doc Ock walks down a street. This was also left out.

- And this scene...

Finally, we were treated to a very different view of New York with Spider-Man 2. Vfx supervisor John Dykstra pointed out the CG hair, full body humans, CG building, seamlessly integrating animatronic and CG tentacles and the car that crashed through a deli window at 65mph. Dykstra also mentioned the spider-cam that photographed &#8220;a 4,000-foot length of Wall Street, at one point entering a limo at 25 mph,&#8221; (a great effect the production didn&#8217;t use, but that I had to mention anyway).

Not positive, but I believe that was supposes to take place during the fight on the side of the building. (I think that's the woman who's screaming when we cut away from her) No idea how that would have been cut in though.
