Bauer, I have absolutely no problem at all with you bringing up that about Cruise.
JackBauer said:let me see if I get this, hunter...
we can't mention how big of an a$$hole Cruise is, but we can complain about Spacey as Luthor?
I don't want to stirr up any s#!t, but it doesn't make sense.
JackBauer said:I'm just saying 'cause if Cruise's life has no place in a discussion about MI3(even though he IS the star of the movie and his antics could get some people to not want to see the movie), Superman Returns has even less place in this thread.
I don't mean to be an ass about it, but it just pushed my button for some reason. let's move along then.
Super_Ludacris said:Could you elaborate your random post a bit? Do you mean the Abrams scripted Superman project that was suppose to be shot with Ratner?
hunter rider said:I understand i just always feel movies should be judged on their merits not who is doing what outside of a film, thats for community gossip threads IMO
hunter rider said:I gather from your other posts that you love the new Lex and that's cool,i meant no offense i am a fan of Spacey the actor just not his Lex

JackBauer said:actually I do love his Lex, but it's not why I complained. it was because you reprimanded people for going off-topic time and again and you were doing the same.
you should lead by example.![]()

Movieweb:
Paramount Pictures is distributing Mission: Impossible III digitally to at least 135 when the film is released in theaters next week; a first for the studio.
According to Variety, there's no signed pact with either of the companies overseeing digital rollout, Christie/AIX and Technicolor, but it will work with a number of partners to put out the film.
A deal with one or both firms are expected soon; Mission: Impossible III hits theaters May 5th.

You have to check by the theatre if it is showing it.

As for the Bay element, Abrams was a writer on Armageddon. The other screenwriters worked on The Island, which was crap.
Basically it's a decent, fun movie, you will be entertained, but it's certainly not a "phenomenal" movie.

Red Mask said:Of course Spacey's perfomance as Lex Luthor is nothing short of brilliant.

Red Mask said:This began before all of us were born, in the pages of Action comics. Villains were fun back then. They should be fun even now. For Hoffman's sake, I'll watch MI:3, because he looks like a fun bastard who can upstage Cruise. He's even got a better smile!![]()
Mentok said:I would officially like to apologise for calling J.J 'overrated'.
I just got back from a second viewing of MI:3 (Its very rare I see a film more than once in the cinema) and I love it.
Its the best film I have seen in a while.
The script is great fun. The cast is great (Fishburne and Hoffman are amazing), so is the pacing of the film.
The start is simple amazing and sets up the tension for the film very well.
Another thing I would like to note was the party scene early on, J.J managed to make Cruse likeable on screen, something I have found hard to do for a few years now![]()
