Okay .
IMAX it is then .
Which is better, Universal CityWalk 19 or the TCL Chinese Theatre?
I am a subway ride away from both .

Almost nothing is shot in IMAX. Now they have the new IMAX cameras and will be using them for Civil/Infinity Wars, but Christopher Nolan was just about the only one I know of who was actually using an IMAX camera and only in some scenes of TDK and TDKR, but they were very difficult to use. Some of the shots in true IMAX are, however, breathtaking. (EDIT: Should have included Interstellar).

Go see it in IMAX if you like the franchise. It's worth it. That jet takeoff trailer is still blowing my frelling mind......

EDIT: As I understand it, the Russos are using the new 2D IMAX camera for some of Civil War and using it exclusively in Infinity Wars and doing a 3D conversion. I wish they'd just use the new 3D IMAX camera and skip to conversion. They are getting pretty good at the conversion, but I don't believe it's as good as shooting in 3D (Hugo being a stunning example of 3D work). I'm sure there is a downside (expense, knowledge of how to use the cameras correctly??), but don't know for sure what it is.

Is there an expert out there on this subject?
Hugo and The Life of PI are the only two movies that I enjoyed in 3D and both of them had Oscar Winning Directors who knew what they were doing .
One of the things that I like about IMAX ,great images and I don't have to wear 3D Glasses to see them.
I wear glasses of my own , I have to put the 3D version over my glasses.
Not comfortable at all and they always slide down during the film.

McQuarrie needs to direct more movies, the guy is a really good director.

He had to pass on the Sequel to Jack Reacher because he was busy with post production on Rogue Nation.
But, I am sure something will happen after the success of this film.

I don't have a link to it ,
But Collider recently sat down with Mcquarrie.

They have a story there about the moment that changed his career .

Basically, he came to a point where he decided that he was done being the guy who was sweating bullets trying to get movies made and transitioned into being the guy who helped other people get their movies made .

Agreed. Pretty sure this will open all the doors for him, though. It'll be interesting to see which one he decides to walk through.

Well ,Sam Mendes is saying he is done with Bond after Spectre.
We shall see, but maybe there is an opening there .

Long before he was hired for this, I wanted McQuarrie to one final Die Hard installment to help the franchise go out with a little dignity. Now that would seem beneath him given the current state of that franchise vs. his own rising stock, but I still wish he'd do it, lol.

There was talk of a Die Hard Script Where Mclane was invited to Japan for the opening of the new Nakatomi Towers when Chaos ensues.
But it looks like it was just a fan script

Any new reviews added to Rotten Tomatoes?
Where does the Tomatometer stand?
Also any last minute clips or TV spots ?

It's at 97% on about 30 reviews. Should easily manage its $40 million OW projection and maybe do more.

Lets see, how will Tom top himself in MI6? I know, he'll strap himself to a rocket and get fired off into space. Then he'll jump off, fall through Earth's atmosphere, and then parachute to the ground. He'll then get up, completely unharmed, and sprint away from a tornado while bad guys futilely try to shoot at him.

He can update the climactic cargo plane fight in The Living Daylights to the Uncharted 3 version in live-action. :woot:

Have they ever done anything with boats in the MI films ?
How about helicopters ?
Seems like those are the only two options left .

There was an helicopter chase in MI3 and the climax of MI was a helicopter being attached to a train.

You got me there .
The helicopter scene in MI was pretty wild, it would be hard to top.

Clearly Sharknados has gotta be involved in the next one & Ethan single handily kills them all once & for all by running through every single one of them

I like that idea.
Something we have not seen in the Mission films
Wasn't there a classic Mission episode involving a syndicate meeting in the mountains and cable cars were the only way up ?

I always liked what one of the stunt guys in the MI:4 Blu-Ray Features had to say about these extreme stunts.

"500meters or 20meters.. there is no difference.. if something goes wrong the result is the same, you only have more time to think about it" :D

Awesome. As long as I'm entertained by Rogue Nation, I'll be satisfied. The stunts and action scenes look great.

So Jimmy Fallon gets Tom Cruise to do a Lip Sync Battle & Tom not doing Old Time Rock N Roll was kinda disappointing. The little tease they did was funny though. That would be how Tom wins the Lip Sync Battle belt though if he one day showed up on that
