Mobile broadband

I'm considering getting this, since the phone I use is Virgin Mobile and they're going to offer it at the end of the month via the usb flash module. I don't use it constantly, but if I'm out in the boonies with my netbook or whatever it would be something to have for about 30 bucks a month, though you only get about 6GB for that amount. Anybody else tried this with their own phone services?

i use sprint mobile broadband as a backup n i can tether my phone as a backup too. depending on ur speed n network availability, i'd say go for it. but do ur homework though.
