It wont be the same without Infinity Ward. There un-interactive environments, 2 foot wide corriders, spamming of enemy's, spamming of scripted events, 6 hour campaign was the pinnacle of first person shooters.

As long as the MP includes larger environments, more players, more focus on team objectives, vehicles, realistic destructible environments and a good squad system then count me in.....oh wait, those elements sound really familiar.

Thats why they want to push as many MW titles out as they can. They wont be able to if the court rules they have no right to that name.

Meh. I played the hell out of MW and MW2, didn't try Black Ops and probably won't get this. I think I've played all the Call of Duty that I can without drastic changes to the gameplay/formula.

The military shooter to get this year will most likely be Battlefield 3, anyway.

Yep, altho i didnt play NEARLY as much MW2 as i did MW.

But i also passed on Black Ops. CoD, unless a drastic change is in order, is done for me. WAAYYY too simplistic.

Seeing that Battlefield took the fight into the future and the upcoming Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will also take place at that time, I think that will be the next step for CoD, I doubt it will be in outer space, it'll lean towards futuristic warfare

As for multiplayer, BO fixed a few problems MW2 had, but failed to execute on the small things. Hopefully Raven took plenty of notes from the community as to what works and what doesn't work and can deliver a decent online experience. Looks like a crowded fall with BF3 and MW3 on the heels of Gears 3.

Yea this holiday season is CRAZY packed. Looking forward to all the games, albeit not this one. Most likely.

If the people who mattered in Infinity Ward didn't leave, I'd buy it. But Infinity Ward now is just Infinity Ward in name only and my interest in Call of Duty died with them.
