Days of Future Past Moira's future with the CIA

I've seen quite a few different ideas for Moira's future with the CIA after the events of X-men: First Class in fan fiction (ranging for how she became the comic book series' Muir Island geneticist to other ventures). I'm curious how future films might show her future with the CIA or afterward after the events of X-men: First Class?

I hope the CIA fires her so she goes in another route, hopefully similar to her comics plot. Dont see her as a geneticist on the sequel, would feel forced and unrealistic.

maybe a reference at the end saying she wants to follow other dreams and the schooling to become a doctor maybe

they could developt the plot during two sequels, but Im not sure if Matthew wants to do it at all

The fanfiction All We Are by Sheherezade's Fable and its sequels Sins of the Father and X-Force on Fanfiction.net present a very interesting view as to how Moira went from geneticist to CIA agent.

But either way if Rose Byrne reprises he role as Moira MacTaggert I imagine her leaving the CIA either through being fired or resigning immediately after the events of X-men: First Class.

I think she would resign after discovering that the CIA knew what was happening on the beach, and decided it was easier to just kill everyone even though the beach was secure. That would piss me right off.

Nerial, a couple very good fanfics I've read recently show her resigning (especially fanfiction.net author Sheherezade's Fable's stories).

In my fanfiction I still have her as active with the CIA but soon to resign after being first disavowed and later going to clear her name.

I'm glad you actually have Moira in your fic--a lot of fan fiction doesn't include her at all. In truth, her character didn't get as much attention as I'd hoped because she's--in many ways--one of the only human allies the X-men have. And she's one of the best, well-known, love interests of Charles, if not the most well-known. I think the other is an alien, and that'll never make it into a movie!

I envision Charles asking Moira for some help with the government or CIA and with that Moira will comeback as the CIA representative.
