More Twilight movies on the way (evidently)

I'd rather see sequels to The Last Vampire on Earth.

My brother just saw this scene and agreed with you.
The acting is underwhelming here, I think Twilight stars at least pull enough effort to make commentary videos on that franchise worth watching.

That movie looks funny, though. I wish Twilight was that funny (although I did like the scene where Bella gets p***ed at Jacob because of Renesmee).

Okay, I watched it, and it is good in the "so bad it's good" sense.

I haven't seen the actual movie itself, but know of it through RedLetterMedia who did a hilarious look at it on their channel. They are not kind to that lead actor. lol

I promise you the RedLetterMedia commentary on this film is worth watching lol. Also, "underwhelming" may be the nicest thing one can saying about their performances. :hehe:

It's less flattering if you mean "it's not bad enough" when calling it underwhelming. :oldrazz:

Radcliffe made an obvious effort to distance himself from Harry Potter in his subsequent career choices, but I don't think he has animosity toward it.

Pattinson just blatantly was done with Twilight while it was still ongoing, lol.
Not only that it would be very unlikely Pattinson would want to work with Stewart ever again.

Won't know that until they try and it fails or succeeds. I think you're underestimating the prospect.
I just call it like I see it. All of the tweenage franchises from the past decade have all fizzled out and run their course (Twilight, The Hunger Games, Divergent, Maze Runner, Percy Jackson, etc). The only one that's endured is Harry Potter, even though that has more mass appeal. Over twenty years later and it still has a rabid fanbase. Sure, not counting the Fantastic Beasts series, there technically hasn't been a Harry Potter film in nearly a decade but if they get around to making that Cursed Child movie (and they will) and they bring the original cast back, they're looking at an easy billion at least.

Comparing Twilight to things like Divergent or Maze Runner is flawed. Twilight was MUCH bigger than any of those. So basing the business prospects of Coke based on the death of RC Cola I think is flawed.

The Hunger Games was pretty comparable in terms of box office. Well, it started a few years later, but still.

Hunger Games was, but I think many disliked the Mockingjay book, and the movie was fairly accurate to it. Twilight never saw that type of backlash from its fan base.
